The Mossberg Maverick 88 Security model is a 12-gauge pump action shotgun that brings reliability, versatility, and customizability to the hunter, law enforcement officer, and civilian at an affordable price. This pump action shotgun features dual extractors, twin action bars, and an anti-jam elevator to provide smooth, trouble free, operation. The barrel is a 20” cylinder bore for optimum shot spread, making this ideal for law enforcement and home defense. The barrel is also blued and contains a brass bead front sight. The receiver is bedded into a synthetic flat dark earth stock with a rubber buttpad to reduce felt recoil. The 20” barrel extends the sight radius giving you a better sight picture when aiming and helps to make precise shots at longer distances which is especially important for bird hunting.
