With that said, the plastic assemblies are still very durable!
I'm pretty sure all of the 500s have the plastic trigger pack. The 590 models get the metal. There's a sweet marine version of the 590 on the front page right now.
Anyone know if this particular mossy has the plastic trigger guard or the metal trig guard?

I have bought from Tombstone in the past. Took a while to ship, but it was a great deal on a handgun I wanted.
Tombstone tactical - they used to be in the Prescott valley area I think, but have moved down to Phoenix, AZ. They have so-so deals & once in a while a really good one. ;)
Even better if you live outside of AZ and can avoid the 9 to 11% sales tax (depending on what city you live in - yes cities have their own sales taxes too here... )
They are a mom & pop shop but you get the Davidson's lifetime warranty on firearms, as they are a authorized reseller.
Almost forgot: veteran owned too. As always YMMV.

This is a fair deal. However Sportsmans sells the pistol grip only parkerized version of this for $289 shipped. The trick is to catch them on sale. Used stocks are cheap on the net so factor that in. To me, parkerized is far better than the matte blued. YMMV?
