The Morakniv Craftline Robust Trade Knife features an extra-thick, 3.6 x 0.125-inch carbon steel fixed blade. High carbon steel achieves high hardness, sharpens easily and is exceptionally tough. High carbon steels are preferred in applications that demand durability and frequent regrinding. The material is harder than stainless steel, allowing it to hold a sharper and more durable acute edge. The Morakniv Robust has an impact-resistant, ergonomic TPE rubber handle with coil-formed rounding that provides extra grip and control. A finger guard provides additional safety. Included with the knife is a hard plastic Combi-Sheath, which provides a quick-connect feature for attaching a second knife and sheath. Morakniv has been manufacturing the highest quality knives in Mora, Sweden since 1891. Limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty.

I use mine as a kitchen knife and it aged and stained and rusted etc. I just clean it you know like a kitchen knife and it's got that coloration and it's all good

These knives are fantastic. A steal for the price, great quality, robust and so easy to get a razor sharp edge on the blade. Has a good hard plastic sheath as well.

I've bought and owned many MORAKNIV knives over the years and I will tell you they are probably the best knives one can get for the price. They are absolutely razor sharp and well balanced for a variety of applications. The only negative thing, well not negative but to remember is to keep the blades dry, clean and oiled. The blades are made of a high carbon steel so they will and do rust and or stain if not taken care of very well. If you take care of them. You will be VERY happy with these knives. Some folks actually purposely age and stain the blades so that they do not need to take such care. However I do not know if that procedure actually does anything good so I just clean and oil after each use.
