The Morakniv Companion MG is an all-in-one knife for outdoor enthusiasts with a patterned, high-friction grip that makes it comfortable to hold and easy to handle. The Companion MG features a 4.1-inch (104 mm) blade of 1095 carbon steel that reaches a hardness of HRC 58-60. High carbon steels are preferred in applications that demand durability and can be easily re-sharpened when needed. The Companion MG will perform well during high impact usage such as creating tinder or cutting wood. When used in wet applications, the blade should be dried after use to avoid blade corrosion and may exhibit a patina or natural discoloration over time through normal usage. You should also clean and oil your blade regularly especially after it comes in contact with acidic foods like oranges. Includes a military green sheath with belt clip. Overall length: 8.6 inch (218 mm); Blade length: 4.1 inches (104 mm); Blade thickness: 0.08 inch (2.0 mm); Weight w/ sheath: 3.9 oz. (110 g). Limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. Made in Sweden.

I have well over a dozen of these Moroknives. These things are just plain practical. Durable, sharp, inexpensive. There are a lot of different models and every one I own is quality. I prefer the 0.125" inch blade models, which run a few dollars more and are bomb proof. I have used them to chop up small logs around a campfire with no fear they are going to break. Skip the expensive stuff if you are simply looking for a knife that does the job. Holds an edge very well, highly rust resistant, and at $10, who cares if it gets lost. It may not be pretty, but it sure is practical. You wont be dissapointed for the value factor.

This knife just gutted and skinned my opening morning blacktail buck! Did a fantastic job and even sliced thru my finger...lol. I know shouldn't advertise that part, oh well... but yeah made a quick and easy job of my deer! Couldn't be happier.

nice deal, I got these when they were about $14 and thought it was an amazing deal then. I heard about these when looking for a knife to take outdoors and to fishing, these Morakniv came up pretty often. Blade will rust like crap after saltwater contact from a time on the jetty, so prolly should pick up the stainless over the carbon, but keep it clean it it's solid. great outdoors knife overall.

Got two of these at the $11.38 price, gave one to my GF. Very, very impressed. It's going out on the trail with me this weekend.

Bought a couple of Mora's and I'm impressed! I got this one and the thicker, heavy duty knife. Did a forced patina with vinegar on both and seems to have worked well.

I will say that the heavy duty seems to have been a little higher quality. The spine on this knife is really rough and unfinished while the spine on the heavy duty is polished and smooth. Kind of a minor thing, but good to know.

Also, WTF on the comment below! No need for that!!!

Great knives and I carry one for field dressing deer after I almost lost a knife with sentimental value a couple of years back.

These are really great knives for the price... Great fit in the hand. Very sharp. Hold in holster well. Very well made. I've ordered two and one for a gift. Mine from amazon were around $18. I would expect to pay $30+ for these.
