I like this monarch, but it should be priced closer to 3.99/box. You can get wolf at brownells for that, also with free shipping. I do agree that Baurnaul x39 is the best steel case.
What's the jacket made of? Is there a perpetrator? If it's safe for steel targets this is definitely a good deal. If not can't see much reason to grab this over Golden Tiger for the sameish price or Wolf for less.

I've been purchasing the white box Barnaul from SGAmmo that is sealed for .23/1000. Always goes bang.
Ammo looks the same but comes in a different box that is black in color
Why do you guys think this is more valuable than other steel-cased ammo? It's 4-5 cents more per round.

The comments are dated. This deal was $4.49 per box with free shipping on 2014-11-24. Barnaul made means that it was made in Russia by Barnaul Cartridge Plant JSC, which is generally considered one of the better plants (quality of ammo produced) Monarch 7.62X39 is essentially Brown Bear; made in the same plant, lacquer coated instead of poly coated and of good quality. At $4.49 it was a good deal with shipping, but at $5.49 it is an average deal (still not terrible with the free shipping) If they were offering it at $4.49, then I would buy 1000 immediately.
