How many inches is the handguard?

Not sure why, but they don't put handguard length in most their builds? Looks like a 12" in the picture.

I know this is a late response, I am just seeing this but, we should list the vast majority of handguard lengths in the descriptions. If we don't have one in the description let me know, I'll make sure it gets added.

It’s not milspec it’s couch operator spec. These gundeals operators are expert without ever see a real m16. Parts vary and so does the fit. Get over it

You must be an air softer if you believe in mil spec

MILSPEC just refers to its compatibility with US military standard. A lot of people will be pairing these uppers with lowers from several different companies, we want to give them the information they need to make a comfortable purchase.

You’re a tool. Here’s the deal, and it’s very simple: Only rifles made for the U.S. military are MilSpec. For more than 50 years and through numerous iterations, experimental models and improved variations, the U.S. military has developed a detailed list of specifications for its service rifle. These “military specifications” are iron-clad.

It’s 2018.. Girls can have guns. They can also argue with a crappy business who claims to be top notch, but really isn’t

Grandpa comes in and assumes everyone’s a boy on gundeals.

The only one being a tool here is you, FuzzEButts. You can find commercial spec and mil spec buffer tubes and stocks listed for sale. Why is that? Because they are different sizes and are therefor incompatible. Right? Colt manufactured Sporter lowers with blocks in place preventing milspec BCGs from being used in them. Right? In the gun community, when anyone refers to an AR-15 as milspec, it is well understood to mean that the rifle/parts were built using the government issued DIMENSIONS AND TOLERANCES, therefore ensuring cross-manufacturer fit and function. Nobody but you expects that to mean that it was inspected and approved by the government. It's a gun/AR-15 community colloquialism, but is a well understood colloquialism. Anyone who doesn't get that is either a noob or a troll.

Milspec is milspec sweety. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that it’s used as a advertising gimmick. Unless you own one of their rifles, you have no idea how cheaply made they are. If you do own one and you say it isn’t, then maybe I got mine on a shit day, but I doubt it

I think the previous poster addressed the MILSPEC issue here and whether you accept his and our explanation or not is going to be something entirely up to you. What I do want to address is the quality of our products, especially if you are saying that you are a customer who wasn't happy with that quality. We source every single part in our firearms from the same manufacturers and machines that you would find in a PSA, FN, Spike, etc. build. The manufacturing and assembly of our products and theirs is practically identical. What sets us apart is the price, and our customer service. If you have ANY questions about a product you received as to the quality or reliability, or even if it's not performing to your standards, I'm more than happy to address that. But for me to address that, you have to ask the questions in at least some form. Flaming my posts isn't going to solve your issues, and believe it or not, if you are a customer, solving your issue is something I am very interested in doing.

Colt put the blocks in to prevent full auto bcg’s, which are a bit longer. At least that’s my understanding and idk how this relates.

Umm...if you think the bcg is longer with a "full auto" bcg i question your knowledge of what milspec means AND everything else you have said....

Mines slightly longer. Maybe it’s not milspec. The bottom rears are different and the fa is heavier
