They already jacked the price up to $15.99. I see no discount codes..

Reviews...At first glance this ammo is pretty scary. There are multiple cosmetic issues because the ammo was not stored in a proper facility or in watertight cans. There are spots of green corrosion, surface mold, and really bad tarnish.

The best part is not paying $ .75 a round to do it.

So these have gone up in price. It seems the buyer figures $.75 a round would be too much to pay. Rather get new reloadable ammo and pay a bit more than get a grab bag of old ammo with bad reviews.

The green in the photo is water tight sealer. All military ammo has sealer in the primer pocket and around the neck. Also the dark area around the neck is Annealing.

Anyone remember a few years ago when Walmart had ZQI .308 ammo at $9.99 per 20??? Glad I loaded up by the thousands.

Yes me and my dad bought a few boxes everytime we went to walmart. But we should have bought more before walmart stopped selling zqi ammo.

Walmart stopped selling most everything. No more pistol ammo (sorry High Point rifle guys), no more Perfecta. I still have a lot of Perfecta 9mm, 45, and .223 ammo. Walmart really sucks. Stopped by one yesterday. They had BB guns in half of their ammo cases. Half of the rest were empty cases. Then the remaining 1/4 of their cases with ammo actually in it was 3/4 empty. So about 1/16th stocked. Pathetic. I see them closing their gun departments soon.

They also stopped selling "assault rifle ammo" which is funny because .223 is no longer on the shelves but you can buy .308 all day long. I guess my AR-10 isn't an evil black rifle however my AR-15 is.

BTW, look we agree on something ;)

Shot those ammo and won’t buy again. Dirty and underpowered. M1A cannot cycle it.

Crazy indeed, shipping for me for 500 rounds is $84. Nuts!

Maybe it's me, but this feels a little overpriced for 30 year old ammo that's essentially non-reloadable.

I'd probably bite at .40/round, but I can buy new production for this price on sale, or Wolf 145 grain steel cased that shoots <2 MOA in my rifle for .30/round.

It's actually not really overpriced.... but still something I wouldn't buy. Ammoseek shows the first reloadable cartridges (not berdan-primed or steel) to be around 53c a round.

Right. And is that new or newish production?

This is 30 year old surplus with steel jacket. It's just dumb to pay that much for this as opposed to new production Wolf steel cased.
