Online Only, Do Not Call, one coupon per order -

There was a time when high-volume shooters bought steel-cased cartridges to save money, only to discover that lacquer coating on the cases gummed up chambers. You’ll have no such worries with this ammunition. MFS uses a special zinc plating on its cartridge cases that won’t impede the performance of your firearm or foul the chamber. Per 20.

Just got this in 55 grain and 62 grain for $5.50 a box. Also has 762x39 fmj $5.50. The soft point was $5.99 bought like 8 boxes. Lots of it on shelf at Cabelas. Love this stuff. Really accurate.

Are these good price?

not to mention using the coupons and going through a place like ebates to get 2% cash back on the purchase. Usually makes the deals pretty sweet! http://bit.ly/12RfZW9...

20-22 cents/round is fantastic "today". Usually steel cased .223 is around 25 cents plus per round. Maybe years ago it was way cheaper but so was gas...

I think so, I placed an order (paying sales tax too). I checked Gunbot and there is very few better priced and only @ .22 per round BEFORE shipping. I prefer these over Tul and Wolf if priced closely. I shoot everything, without problems, and won't put down Wolf or Tul as they both work fine for me in various firearms and calibers.

I think so. Much better than regular steel for just a penny more per round.

These are decent blasting rounds, cases feel as fingernail-smooth as the PMC Bronze I'm rubbing at the same time. Currently overpriced compared to the Wolf Gold and PMC Bronze deals I've see last 2 days.

Are these "zinc plated" cartridges slippery like brass or rough and sticky like steel?

i occasionally land a deal at cabelas, especially after using the coupons they mail me. ie: 500 rnds of 9mm blazer brass yesterday at .18 a round after tax and available for storepickup. just be patient and utilize their policies to your advantage

can you use two coupons at one order?

Lol. You can get quality brass for the same price or lower. Cabelas prices on ammo sucks, but I guess they need to pay for their massive overhead of their brick and mortar stores.

Why aren't you listing the good deals on ammo you know about?

Less than two years ago, there was a lot of talk among politicians about banning internet sales of ammo and firearms. While the recent elections will put a temporary damper on the anti-gunners, that could all change in 2, 4, or 20 years. My point being that, while one shouldn't feel it necessary to make "donations" by paying exorbitant prices, it might be wise to occasionally support brick-and-mortar businesses when prices are similar. They might be your last refuge for ammo and firearms in the future.

Just a quick Q, but where are you getting quality brass not reloads for $5.49 for 20 rounds?

In November of 2014, I can find Wolf GOLD for $5.99, American Eagle ho-hum for $5.95, and Independence 556 for $6.19. I haven't seen anything but STEEL for $5.49 of late.....

Yes, Cabelas is ALWAYS on the high end of prices. That is a known fact. Nothing will change that. Folks need to stop confusing IN-STOCK and DEAL, but to say folks can find factory fresh (not reloads) brass for $5.49 late into 2014 is complete bullshit.

You can get .223 colt/silver bear 62gr from sportsmansguide for ~$6.40/box + the occasional free ship code or $10 off.

I bought 500 and have shot 200 with zero problems in a SW MP 15X. Bought mine at Palmetto.

Internet rumor says this is repackaged Silver Bear.

I got 500 of the 62gr from PSA when they first came out (2010 or 11, like $200 for the 1/2 case & free shipping). So I figured it'd be like Wolf with a nice coat. It's pretty good, surprisingly for that price, but when I saw it next was priced at a premium, not so good.
