I've got 5 of these lowers. They're milled with a m16/m4 trigger pocket so the only think an 07sot needs to do is drill a hole.
For what it’s worth, if you have Brownells EDGE they don’t charge that FFL fee.
Anyone have any experience with Matrix Arms?
I bought a Matrix Arms lower last year and it's been great. I like the roll mark more than my PSA and poverty pony, but otherwise it's pretty much the same as any other lower. My Matrix is my 10.5 pistol build and it's currently my favorite.
No experience with MA but have read mixed reviews.. seems to be par for the course when it comes to budget lowers. (Matrix, Anderson, Palmetto).
FFL fee is in place to get you to purchase the EDGE package.. free 2 day shipping on *most* items for $50 a year and no FFL fee
Seems like a good deal until you get to the cart and see they want to add an extra $10 for a "FFL Processing Fee". So now you're getting nailed for fees on both ends.
Can honestly say, this is the first company that wants to charge an FFL fee to send it to an FFL.
Picked mine up today, assembled and test fired. I had to come back and comment. Was not expecting anything great but the finish and construction on this lower is fantastic. Its leaps and bounds better looking than both my colts (which arent necessarily known for fit and finish but still) This was an awesome buy thanks OP.
