Picked one up from RK last week. $506.78 out the door after taxes and the background check. Ran through a box of Remington green and whites just fine but the magazine was a real pain in the thumb during loading after about 17 rounds. Never got more than 22 in there but I also didnt use a loader. Overall i wish i had bought this years ago and saved a hundred bucks, not an EDC piece for sure but it scores very high on the tacticool scales and with a light and lazer makes a fine bed side party starter.
If you can find a sten magazine loader it makes loading the mags 100% easier. I found one in the random parts box at my local gun store and snapped it up.
The mags get easier over time. IMO this really comes into its own as an SBR with side charging kit and side folder.
I just looked at one of these tonight at RK...about $70 cheaper
I hear this thing is super easy to bump fire by just pulling the faux suppessor (sounds ify hand might slip and ya blow off a few fingers) while floating your finger in the trigger housing
I wish this was a side cocking model... id buy one if so. not a fan of the top cocking models
Anyone know if the barrel is to the tip of that "faux" suppressor, or once you remove that fake crap is it flush with the firearm itself. Like some use those fake cans to hide a longer barrel, does this?
It’s about two inches outside of the receiver
Sweaty Ben in this video shows it does not mask a longer barrel but just some threading. I'll be rocking one of these after I get my 9mm can out of jail.
Up $30 bucks from last week (current price is $429.99 for reference).
Looks like the gun in every 1980’s movie
100% love it
You're thinking of the MAC9 or the MAC10.
455 with tax and shipping closer to 500 with transfer gonna find it local
Does anyone know if you can get a brace for this?
You can get a folding buffer tube attachment from masterpiece. I believe it’s about $50. Pretty high quality. No play at all folded or unfolded.
The sell a different model now that comes with a brace and a couple other additions called the MPA35DMG.
If you're thinking about buying this thing? Think it over a good bit. The mags are TAPCO made, TAPCO a division of Remington has been shut down. So basically the mags for this thing could get pretty scarce quickly. Just a friendly FYI.
they also have grips available to take glock mags. lots of aftermarket support, braces and stocks available as well
I believe these take sten mags as well which are plentiful. These do take a brace fun range toy.
I own one. Mine jams several times per mag depending on the ammo. Lost my trigger boot and it punishes my finger after a few rounds. Surprisingly accurate though.
Not much of a deal. Other sites are selling it for the same price or less once you factor in shipping.
Believe it or not, these are a blast to shoot.
I can tell you this, I have ordered a lot from PSA, but not anymore, they are price gouging big time. A couple weeks ago their CCI 1000 round bulk pack was $179.99, today it is $299.99.
Its not price gouging. Its raising the price to keep 'some people' from buying all the 22lr, so that when people like me log on there's still some left. If they didnt raise the price some asshole would buy it all because thats what happens when theres runs on certain products. basic economics.
"Its not price gouging. Its raising the price to keep 'some people' from buying all the 22lr"
That's gouging and you are an idiot.
BTW, who are "some people?"
Huh? I’m not sure you understand “basic economics.” So you believe that PSA is “helping” people by jacking up the price on certain products instead of simply placing a limit on how many of item X an individual can buy? Using your logic, your local grocery store should be selling toilet paper for $75 a pack instead of $8 to help everyone get some.
It's amazing how people's politics and economic views flip-flop when the price of ammunition increases to the fair market value.
"No! We want price controls! We want limits!"
Exactly. The local grocery store now has a “2 bread items per customer” limit to try and prevent hoarding, and that’s still somewhat of an honor system. An online retailer like PSA could easily limit customer purchases to prevent hoarding. But no, they’re raising prices to do that... lol sure.
whats to stop people from checking out 1 at a time over and over and over again, maybe with different email address each time??
Shipping address. Billing address.
Make the limit "per household".
You could still do it if you had a bunch of friends and family willing to let you ship stuff to their address.
I shipped full capacity magazines to Mom's house when I lived in California during the Obama years. One place actually refused my order at first and asked why my billing and shipping addresses were completely different, because it looked like credit card fraud.
This is not a deal at PSA. $347.98 shipped at Dahlonega Gold and Pawn.
