Isn't owning a lever action 30-30 a requirement in these United States? At least it is south of the Mason- Dixon.

This is wrong. The 336W is a $50 rebate. The 336C is a $75 dollar rebate. https://www.marlinfirearms.com/sites/default/files/Marlin_Rifle%20Rebate...

It is in fact a $75 rebate. I provided the incorrect link earlier.

Love this place!
This is my new "goto" for checking deals prior to shopping elsewhere. I highly recommend you doing the same but don't be so disappointed if the deal(s) go away before you get your order placed. There does appear to be a limit to their available quantities.

Hello everyone! As of 3PM EST on 7-29-2017 We have sold out of UPC 026495704568 which is the big loop 18.5" Model 1895 45-70. We still have plenty of the 1895 18.5" 45-70 black walnut standard loop. To confirm this is UPC 026495016500. We have plenty of the other models advertised at this point. We will try to keep updates coming to avoid future disappointments to our customers regarding items selling out.

Yeah, it appears when I hit "reply" that it still defaults to the top of the list. I was intending to reply to some crash179 comment implying a purchase is required to have the right to leave a comment. Not directed toward you Rick. However, it still didn't work when I tried to "reply". Odd that it won't work.

Oh crash, you little flirtter you. You can read a companies policy without actually making a purchase. Did you know this company is posting all their own deals? I never have been a fan of self promition on a deals site. Did you realize you need to give them your email before you can even put an item in your cart. Sneaky advertising tactic that sadly works very well.

I never made a claim about fast or slow shipping and whether I purchased from this company or not has zero relavence to my comment regarding the store policy and tactics. From these other comments, it appears plenty of folks like the low prices although some are not happy with customer service. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I personally think the store policy sucks. These guys take your cash, lock you in, and let some 18 year old sitting in a warehouse in an entirely different state pick out your box and send it off. I think a comment alerting folks to what I feel is a crappy policy so people thinking of buying can pay attention, read the policy, and make their own decisions if they want to proceed is more than reasonable. I would appreciate if someone took the time to do the same so I see no reason for someone to try and discredit my review...unless, they have alterior motives, like getting paid to police negative comments.

Dude, no problem with your review. As a mater of fact I'm glad you shed light on GPD policies. Why so defensive? Did you order? Was your review glowing? Please don't read more into a comment then what was written.

Just facts: Reading reviews before I ordered I was under the impression of fast almost 2 day shipping. Except bird man (who never ordered) all reviews were glowing. Now my order. I placed my order and it took 13 days to ship with July 4th included . Nate was in contact and said the truck was delayed. Once shipped my 45-70 arrived quickly. My GBL 18" is awesome. Would I order from GP again?
Probably not.

I just wanted to chime in with my experience with GunProDeals...

After reading all these comments I was hesitant to place an order (1895GBL) so I decided to call the number listed on their site. The number rang through to Nate's personal cell phone. I expressed my concerns and he was very nice/patient in explaining the 'Drama'.

I decided to place my order on Monday (July 24th) mid-day and accepted that I may have to wait awhile, but Nate assured me my order would be in my hands in time for the rebate.

To my pleasant surprise, I got an email 24 hours later with a UPS tracking number. This wasn't an instance of a seller printing a label and letting it sit... the package was tendered to UPS the same day and is scheduled to be delivered to my FFL in CA tomorrow.

TL;DR - Nate was open and honest about inventory. Shipped next day. Awesome to be able to call and talk to a person. For $350 after rebate this is a steal.

Just an update on what happened with Nate at GunPro deals. As promised by Nate I have received a full refund per my request. I had a long coversation with Nate, who apologised for what happened. I do believe that Nate is trying to do the right thing by the customer. I would not go so far as to call him deceptive any longer. For what it is worth I got my money back and order from another online vendor, I paid a little more but don't care as long as I get my firearm.

All of these responses are definitely true. I've been waiting over 2 weeks for a gun a purchased from them! Very rude and cocky! I would definitely look elsewhere to buy a gun. Like the other comments, it's not worth saving a few dollars! BUYER BEWARE!!

These guys are the absolute worst. Had a terrible experience dealing with them and I've never seen such unprofessional customer service. It's not worth dealing with this company to save a few dollars. Give your money to a company that actually cares about their customers and stands by their word.

I'm not standing up for this company and haven't ordered from them before but seems people are so used to amazon and getting everything in 2 days. If u want a gun today go to gun shop and get one. Guess I don't understand because I've never ordered a gun and needed it right then for any reason. I've always had many of guns to shoot or build. Just b happy when it does get there and b greatful that it did. Just my 2 cents.

Good point. We do get spoiled by that fast shipping.

I've got no problem with drop shipping or extended shipping times if it saves money, but I want to know when I order so I can decide if it's worth the wait. If the seller is reasonably accurate on shipping times then all is good.

This particular seller got screwed when their expected shipment was delayed and I feel for them. Some of their customers overreacted, IMHO, but the seller needs to remember it's not the customers fault. Going online with anything less than a sincere apology was a mistake, IMHO.

That said, it behooves customers and online sellers to work together or we all lose. Sellers go out of business and buyers get fewer deals like on these beautiful Marlin lever guns. I just wish I could get one in .357 mag.

But there are three different ones on your website with three different prices . Are any the C version or are they all the W ? the scoped one says HARDWOOD stock not walnut like the other two more expensive . Do they have plastic or metal barrel bands , I heard the w has plastic and the c has metal .

Nate, I have ordered at least 10 guns on line in the past I have never had this issue with a dealer. First your company was dishonest about having them in stock. Second I gave you two different FFL'S and you failed to still ship the gun I had paid for over a week ago out. Two different FFLS and you still couldn't get the firearm out?? Seems like deception. Or incompetence which is it? You are correct when we spoke on the 16th you did ask if I wanted a refund but you intimated the gun would be on its way Monday here it is now Tuesday night over a week from when I paid and still nothing but excuses and insults on your part. Nice way to pass the blame on a customer, great customer service............... BEWARE OF GUNPRO

Another cocky retailer shoots themselves in the foot (pun intended.) It's not your customers fault you continued to take orders on OOS items without being upfront about it. Nor is it customers fault that your shipment was delayed. You can tell us you know what you are doing, fling backhanded insults and like your own posts all you want. Maybe if you had communicated better with the customers who had *ALREADY PAID YOU* you wouldn't be fielding complaints out here in the open for all to see.

Gun pro deals are horrible to buy from look somewhere else, I have been waiting over a week and a half for a gun that paid for that showed in stock only to find out when I called that they didn't have any in. They sure took my money though, totally dishonest. As of this post I am still waiting for them to ship my gun, I have already requested a refund and didn't get a response. I guess I'll have to go all over the web telling people the truth about how they treat customers... BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Guns77 what is your order number and I will look into your issue? It sounds like you may have ordered the 1895 45-70 in 18.5" and yes we had a huge number of orders for this come in and we sold out. I will also state that I am the one who made the decision to keep them " in stock " on the website so we could continue to take orders. I did this because we had an ETA on the next truck which was bringing more of these guns. I do not feel this is an unreasonable business practice. If you called in and spoke to me I would have told you this and I would have also given you the opportunity to cancel without penalty. That offer still stands if that is what we need to do to make you feel more comfortable with the process. It sounds like on line gun buying may not be for you and you may be better suited to go in to a store and get it same day and pay a bit more for it.

I purchased a Marlin 1895 on June 16, 2017. I did not receive the original invoice from my FFL which I need to secure my rebate. I have emailed [email protected] three times now trying to secure my invoice and I have called twice and left a voicemail to no avail. I am posting this comment in the hopes that you review your emails or voicemail and get in touch with me! Thank you!

metz3006 what is your order number and I will be sure to send you a more detailed invoice. When you place your order you should receive a receipt that should work just fine for the rebate as well. Some people have emailed us asking for a more detailed receipt which we can provide upon request. To get that email [email protected] requesting it. You can also get me on my cell phone at 260-416-6017. One way or the other we will make sure that you get what you need.

I was told (by Marlin) that a print out of the email receipt would be good enough. I got the impression from them that the UPC sticker was the important part. *I am only passing along the info I received directly from Marlin. I called b/c of the same issue (I did not try contacting GunPro).

Purchased just before closing on a Sat and it was delivered on Wed. Very responsive customer service, good quality gun (got the 326W), and extremely competitive pricing. Would definitely recommend purchasing if you're on the fence

Does the rebate apply to the 1895 45-70 stainless "Jurassic Park" rifle?

0 votes
0 votes

If you click on the rebate form in the "deal info". Marlin has a picture of said rifle with "$100 rebate ON ALL 1895 RIFLES" below it. So I think it is pretty safe to assume it is. You can always ask the UPC on it and look it up on the rebate form too.

I do not see anything that excludes any of the models of 1895. If in doubt I would call Marlin and verify. From what I see it is not not included :-)

We did have a delay in the inbound truck that we were expecting last Friday. We did send emails out to our customers letting them know of the delay. If you did not receive that email I do apologize and you can reach me at 260-416-6017. I do not see an active order for a Rick Grimes at a quick glance.

Just got mine today! 1895GBL. (It showed up at the FFL within 5 days of my order I just didn't have time to pick it up.)
What a Beaut! seems top quality. everything operates with no issue and seems very sturdy. Great wood. Love the sights! 45-70 BOOM! as far as some of the complaints I see below... if the firearm has issues, Marlin will take care of it.. If I have any problems with the firearm I will contact marlin. It came with the owners manual with a 5 year warranty card enclosed... Don't beat up on Nate at GunPros because they use Vendor Managed Inventory. That's a good thing. That's how you get good prices... Don't like it? BUY ONE AT A STORE SO YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT FIRST AND PAY MORE $$$. Seems silly to even have to say that but DUH!

I cant wait to shoot it tomorrow!

Thanks again!

Hi,

I'm Birdbox, I've never actually used GUNPRO, BUT I GOTTA BAD FEELONG ABOUT EM and no one should use them...

Seriously man, why are you so bent on scaring folks away from GUNPRO? You actually downvote people's actual great experience with the company and pretty much come back with "Hey, they suck, I'm almost positive".

You really should use the company first, and then give them a review -not give a company a bad review and then think about trying it.

What'd ya wipe first and then take a crap as well? Come on Birdbox....

GUNPRO is a stand up company!

Last purchase was an P30sk, ordered on Monday morning and arrived Wednesday afternoon. Would've been delivered Tuesday, but UPS fudged it up. The firearm arrived in my neighboring city the very next day at UPS facility and sat.....

Long story short: GREAT PRICE POINT, INCREDIBLY FAST SHIPPING and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Thanks GUNPRO!!

Purchased the 1895 GBL 6-22, picked it up from the FFL on the afternoon of 6-23 exactly what I ordered. Nate at gun pro is a solid guy I was treated with respect in a professional manner as far as customer service I'll buy from them again in the near future.

Buyer beware. The prices appear good for a reason...once you pay, there is no going back. Do not buy from these guys unless you are willing to accept whatever shows up at your ffl. There is a 25% cancellation fee if you make a mistake. There is a 10% fee if the item is rejected without opening the box. Once your FFL opens it, there is a 25% overall fee if the item is unacceptable, such as having a scratch, ding, or damage. To top it all off, this company doesnt even actually possess the item you purchase. They are simply a middle man who takes your order, then coordinates a warehouse in a completely different location to ship to you. You get what you pay for folks. You are rolling the dice as there is no such thing as customer satisfaction. These company literally never sees the item you recieve so quality control is non-existent because its not possible if its not in their posession. Rolling the dice for a reasonable price is not the gambling I want to participate in. Once the credit card number is submitted, there is no more customer first, just take the item that a warehouse far from the seller gives you or pay up for being a sucker. Read all the details of the policy before you buy. Its not good folks, not good at all. You have been warned.
