Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) is a line of firearm accessories designed to provide a high-quality, economical alternative to standard weapon parts. The MOE line distinguishes itself with a simplified feature set, but maintains Magpul engineering and material quality.

AR/M4 GEN M2 MOE is a 30-round 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M4 compatible magazine that offers a cost competitive upgrade from the aluminum USGI. It features an impact resistant polymer construction, easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction, resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance, and an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The GEN M2 MOE is identical in form and function to the older model PMAG except that the optional Impact/Dust Cover is now sold separately.

There's a pretty good article and test of seven or eight polymer mags anyone with BRD would instantly recognize. I don't recall the name of the brand most people like hacking on, but the author shot each magazine using a twelve gauge shotgun and #8 birdshot from about ten or twelve feet away. Surprisingly, the absolute cheapest one with the worst reputation was one of only three to remain capable of functioning as normal. The Magpul magazine came out just fine. As did another one, the hexmag I believe. Generally speaking it's hard to go wrong with polymer magazines these days. That being said I'll go with the 69 99 pack of mission first Tactical with free shipping

I've had issues, personally, with the MFT mags. The feed lips spread during loaded storage. They haven't failed, and when they're inserted in a rifle the mag well pushes everything back into proper geometry, but if you drop one of them or bump them around too much they puke out rounds, which i don't find typical behavior of good AR mags.

$13 shipping, so you better get at least 10 to make this a deal.

As opposed to just buying 10-round mags? Why give LE a reason to give you a hard time in gun-controlled states?

...and why use a mag that can get in the way compared to a more compact 10 rounder?

9$ shipping. 20 or more to make this a deal.

If you create an account an sign in, they are 12.99. You have to check out as a guest for the price to work. Something screwy with the webpage right now.

$8.99 flat rate shipping. Not a bad deal if your buying in bulk, but 1 or 2 mags at 8.99 shipping definitely wouldn't be worth it.

LGS has these for $10 a mag plus no tax for any portland, OR folks in here.

Merely an okay deal once you factor in shipping. They're clearly using weight-based Fedex shipping, starting at $13.02 one magazine totals $22.01 out the door. Shipping increases about $0.60 per additional mag. It took 17 magazines before total cost dipped below $10 each, shipped. If you're in the market for a lot of magazines (some of you out there are) and can soak off the shipping cost, then go for it.

These are very good and proven reliable and durable many times over. Personally I like having equal amounts of Pmags and aluminum mags.

I guess you could say that. Magpul does make very nice mags. They're on of my favorites.

With standard shipping, still great prices on mags. The rest of the site also has good pricing on most items as well. I have ordered from them several times and they are good people. Never an issue and continue to do business with them.

Before down voting this deal, make sure you're double checking the shipping type in the checkout page. USPS priority option is WAY better than the overnight option that is automatically highlighted. Just FYI.

Almost $18.00 to ship to Washington kills this deal for me.

Shipping for one magazine was $2.94
Shipping for 10 was $10.10

What's throwing people off is that this merchant has the 1 day overnight delivery option as the 1st selection or default selection, which is odd, but as long as one has their eyes open during checkout, it's all good. :)

Agree. Shipping kills this deal. I also did the shipping estimate and moved on.

qty = 10 To TX (estimate shipping from cart, which is nice)
USPS - Priority Commercial $14.25
USPS - Express (Overnight in most areas) $45.80

$49 Shipping to Ohio for 10 mags...Are you kidding me????

For Priority Express, Overnight shipping that would be about right. To ship 4 pounds standard Priority Mail it would be closer to $9-10. Please double check the shipping method and let us know if you have any other questions. We're happy to help!

It's flat rate, if you buy a few it's well worth it. And where can you find gen 3s for this price? I'll buy some because it's that'd be about $3 below cost.

Shipping kills this totally. I can buy the M3 version locally for about the same price

Hi there,
Thanks for bringing this up. It's worth a quick note.

We offer only one shipping model at Charlie Coopers. It's a flat rate shipping model, at 8.95 per order. We went rounds here deciding on a shipping model, and actually still do. It's a never ending topic.

We fight for transparency in our company. We want our customers to tell us these things so we can address, and adapt. Our goal is the same as our clients. To get our products to them as fast and price competitive as we can.

Suffice it to say, some of this tends to be a delicate balancing act. And because of how we chose to model our shipping, we aren't ever going to be able to provide value for small, lighter weight orders. That's absolutely not to say we don't want the business, not at all. We just find that our customers prefer the sliding scale of shipping to deliver better pricing for the more you purchase. So, that's the model we run with today.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we get it. We'd love to be able to adjust the slide down to compete. It's just not cost competitive for us to compete at that level and offer flat rate for large orders too. We chose the lesser of two evils we felt.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm more than happy to continue this conversation here, or via email too. We have, and we will, always fight for what our clients want. If we misstep, we can fix it. So, let's talk about shipping. The more we know about what you want, the more we can fight for it.

Thanks for the message Adam. Your responsiveness to customer's concerns is certainly refreshing. You have a leg up on your competition's mostly horrendous customer service, not to mention any names... (PSA). Will check back with your site and see if we can't place an order for something else. Thanks.

We really appreciate the follow up. We're dead serious about the offer to talk shipping too. We get better when you guys speak up. We're a transparent company, and we aren't going to hide behind the anonymity of the internet. It's simply not our style.

Let me know when you circle back. We love testing new ideas on customers. ;-)

All the best,
Adam

Who buys mags one at a time? Don't be a moron. That's a flat shipping rate.

How many lots of 10 or 12 mags can you buy in a lifetime? I only need a couple here and there to replace old ones, jackwagon. Even at 4 mags its just an average deal with shipping figured in.

In for 10. With the new price, shipping for $15, it ends up being $95/10 pmags, colored if needed.

Magpul discontinued all mag colors. Have you seen Gen3 in colors? Break out the rattle can and then stipple the rough areas to have grip again...

If they were GEN3 I'd be a buyer at this price.
