Still get a kick at all the panic buyers and re-sellers who paid $200 for a polymer lower not 6 months ago.

i just received a tracking number, my lower that i pre-ordered for $77.77 shipped on 2/28 has already shipped. they must have received them sooner than expected.

Regularly (but not at the time when this post was written) PSA sells "in-stock" Omni polymer lowers for 69$ and they have a good reputation. Why pre-order here if you can catch a deal from PSA for a better product ?

Just check this page from time to time

Taking my words back. After some time I noticed a big issue with my ATI receiver - pistol grip bolt can be easily overtightened ... once you add a bit more pressure threads are gone. Should be easy on it.

NFA is regarded as the better product. Thats why they were selling for $50 pre-panic, but PSA couldnt move Omni's at $35.

The omni's are much nicer in finish, and feel very solid.

The NFA lower may not feel as thick, but overall is more than strong enough to undergo a lot of punishment. I would trust it

The NFA lowers I have I plan on making into survival and unltralight rifles. the ATI lowers will be for every day range and outing rifles. I'll use my more expensive perts for the ATI lowers, and put all my leftovers on the NFA receivers.

There are several comparisons online between the ATI and NFA. ARF has one showing pics of how unfinished the ATI is in comparison. The ATI also has internal components exposed, specifically the mag release spring. When questioned about sand/grit/etc compromising the lowers ability to release and lock mags, they basically said its not an issue for them. The ATI is slightly beefier at some points, but where its enough to make a difference in the field remains to be seen.

Where are you getting that the Omni polymer lower is better than the NFA lower? From what I've read the NFA is the better product.

Exactly. Please comment when you have owned and used both.

I have both, and see nothing terribly wrong with either, BUT, the NFA needed fitting when I swapped the plastic guts for a regular lower parts kit. The mag release was an issue (tight) the safety hole, and sharp seams. The magwell was too tight for pmags, but everything else (lancer troy steel and alum all dropped free). The omni was in a 22lr rifle, with a cheap parts kit for the 22, but once replaced everything worked.

The thin plastic hammer for 9mm still got stuck and was hell to separate the receivers!

My New Frontier Armory is on its way to my FFL. I chose this over the Omni as I got it at a good price with an installed polymer lower parts kit. And at this time, getting lower parts kits isn't easy. I also have a Tapco military style, aka "mil-spec", receiver extension and stock assemblies I will be using for completion.

Your comment leads me to believe you have owned both. Can you personally elaborate upon the differences? If I like the polymer, and I probably will, I can choose the better for my future builds.

Sorry for the late response , but I rarely subscribe to posts these days because I use my android as my alarm clock and when some people post at 2-3 a.m. it wakes me up when I get the alert.

No, just the NFA. But my point being that I have not and cannot bash Omni Poly lowers because I have not owned one. I was merely making a point about the original poster of the comment that was just assuming either is bad or good because of what they heard. I can only speak of my own experience with the NFA lower.

I do not have any issues with my NFA. I didn't need to file anything down. I did make one mistake which was to pull on the rear takedown pin too hard during cleaning and pulled the thing right out. It bent the spring. But, when in place the takedown pins are harder to dis-lodge than in an Alum with steel td's. If you buy a complete NFA Lower the takedown pins are also polymer. Not hardened steel. I bent it back and replaced and it is fine. Also, the trigger AND hammer are poly also.

I do not have any issues with the NFA and could care less of the finish. It is a rifle...not a show car. It shoots bullets. At this point i have 700 rounds through it with no issues. This is my experience. Others may have had a different experience.

Lastly, I spoke with the NFA guys on the phone. As long as you use the lower as it is intended and do not run over it with a tank or whatever...if it fails under "Normal" use...they will replace it free of charge at no cost to you. It is a LIFETIME warranty. Calrification of NFA Lifetime really means lifetime. A lot of people on here bash Poly lowers and i say to that....look at Glock....any Aluminum lower mistreated will fail as well...run over...explosions...combat....the like.

My personal opinion that these people are fantasizing about these scenarios as civilians is ridiculous. I shoot mine in the country when checking fence lines and when my friends can't make the long trip to country we go to the range. Having a few AR's with quad rails and all the bells and whistles equals a heavy ass rifle. Walk miles with a heavy ass rifle and you will understand the value of Poly in a civilian scenario. This is why I chose the Poly in a Carbine style. Light as hell.

Others may have different opinions and my opinion is I love it. You may not. They may not. To each his own. Good luck.

And for you people that feel the need to talk crap about my post.....if you hate them so much don't buy them.

I'm in on the Polymers. I bought the NFA as it comes with the polymer lower parts kit installed. Too bad the Omni does not as I may have given them more consideration. I am wanting to hear from someone who has both and what their real world experiences.

It is just a matter of time before they become even more widely accepted. When it becomes possible to get a complete lower receiver, including a military style (aka Mil-Spec) receiver extension and stock for less than $160 there will be a lot more people giving it a try.

Thanks for sharing!

Lanbos is a solid dealer.....I'd spend an extra $30 and get a real lower, but that's just me. These may be ok, and may not have issues...but they go for $29 regularly, and besides being polymer, they just look horrible and ooze "cheapskate" at the range.....

I'll make sure I wear my Fendi sunglasses so I don't look like a cheapskate at the range.

Actually at the range I was at, everyone liked my New Frontier poly lower and a few wanted to shoot it. They loved how light it was which led to less shooter fatigue and I had absolutely no issues with it on over 1000 rounds. I know that's not a huge number to base anything on, but I'm more than happy with it, and the people at the range liked it as well.

I love how these people cry about a polymer lower, when they probably have never used one. Not to mention thousands of guns are built on a polymer frame that are extremely well built and reliable. Not too long ago people used to complain about aluminum not being as sturdy or reliable as steel...

I remember people crying about the Glock 17 when it was first released. I would go to the range and have to hear BS like "Did you bring any real guns" or "Hey I heard the frame is made of used condomns" blah blah blah. Now how many gun manufacturer's make guns with Polymer frames? Polymer is a great material to build guns with END OF STORY.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM LANBO ARMORY

I ordered a lower a month ago when it was shown in stock, no response from the seller but my CC was charged. My FFL did not get any replies after sending a copy of their license. I had to go to my CC company to get them to undue the charge. SCAM!

Lanbo is a solid company. I have bought plenty of items from them and even on one occasion they went above and beyond my expectations when and item I ordered went out of stock when I tried to order it. Lanbo contacted me after finding the item from their distributor and made a special order for me. This in my book is top notch and over the top service. Thanks again.

I have no idea who you are, but seeing as how we have NEVER had a charge-back in the entire history of our company, your statement is either a lie (which is grounds for libel) or you are mistaking us for another company. If what you say is true, feel free to post up any proof you have. You have my permission to post up anything you have to support your claim and if you are right and I am wrong I will boldly eat my words. I back up my claims with proof. Let's see yours since you're trying so hard to destroy my company's reputation. If I am a scammer, I'm sure every gun.deals user would love to know it.

EDIT: I also see you posted almost the exact same comment on a NFA lower from midwestpx.com. Seems like it would be an awfully big coincidence to have had the exact same experience at two different dealers. I call BS!!!

I've recently found Lanbo's thanks to this site. I have made multiple purchases with hundreds of parts with NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM OR MISTAKE from them. They have always been extremely prompt with shipping. They have my business for anything they stock!

Can't speak for the seller, but these lowers I have had no issues with. I have 2, one is a 5.56 pistol the other is a 300 blackout and I have at least 2k rounds through each, only issue I had was the mag release I had to file down very slightly. This is also a great price.

400+ through mine. No issues. Lifetime replacement warranty. No worries. Lightest Carbine I have ever built. Lovin' it.

Can't speak for these lowers, but the service at Lanbo's is OUTSTANDING!

Several companies haven't even answered my questions regarding my orders the last two months, but Lanbo's replied quickly and courteously. That alone is worth a few $$ in hassle-free time for me.
