So much wrong with the comments below just fyi for anyone wanting or thinking about buying this it is COMPLETELY LEGAL to own without a 4473(sbr).Do your own research dont trust the keyboard know it alls, here it is copied straight from the atf website-->Assuming that the firearm was originally a pistol, the resulting firearm, with an attached shoulder stock, is not an NFA firearm if it has a barrel of 16 inches or more in length.
Pursuant to ATF Ruling 2011-4, such rifle may later be unassembled and again configured as a pistol. Such configuration would not be considered a “weapon made from a rifle” as defined by 26 U.S.C. § 5845(a)(4).
[26 U.S.C. § 5845, 27 CFR § 479.11]
The pistol is legal and is the firearm here. The pistol CAN be swapped for the other parts and made into a rifle. No issues here. Geez people seriously. Misinformation much?
most FFLs do not register it as a pistol or a rifle but an "Other" people jump to conclusions that have no clue on the difference. This is not an NFA item. People should get their facts straight.
How is this legal to sell? The lower is made into either a Riffle or Pistol, Then any changes from a Pistol to a Riffle, Or a Riffle to a Pistol to that lower (the gun) Is a felony. Am I missing something that makes this not the same thing?
If it’s sold as a pistol, it is legal to convert it to a rifle and then back to a pistol. However, if it doesn't work the other way around.
*_RIFLE_* and it probability comes with the lower, brace, shoulder stock and BOTH uppers separate from each other giving you the choice of which style pistol/rifle you want. Also it's illegal to convert a pistol to rifle just not the other way around.
Soon soon as you put the Rifle parts on it and make it a Rifle. Then even how you said it, That would make it a Rifle, Then you are switching it back to a Pistol, Making it Illegal? I don't think this was thought through by them.
Agree 100%. I would imagine this would have be sold as an NFA product since the stock and 7.5" barrel make it a SBR. I see can already see newer firearm buyers instantly becoming felons after falling for this gimmick.
Is it legal? Sure. Is it gonna confuse some ignorant person causing him to stock the pistol and go to jail? For sure.
