I just bought a 27 it was Ike new. FYI
How much do the cops pay for these new? $425??
Well, they have their blue label program that I have taken advantage of several times in years past. Generally they took a hundred bucks off retail, and last time I bought one through the program it was $400 even. That was the last year they would let us buy just one. Now they're letting us buy two per year but when I called last fall they were in the $500 range because retail was over six. Even worn out night sights leave this a great deal because they are no longer as spendy and what the public doesn't know is most cops only shoot as required for qualification. I paid $430 for a Gen 3 last spring.
My dad purchased a gen 3 22 from Aim a few years back for $329 and it looked close to new. Dead night sights but a great firearm for the price if you don't mind .40
Hmm, worn out old glock covered in bacon grease or a brand new PPQ M2 for $25 less... it's a tough one
If they have night sights, expect them to be near the end of their usefulness.
