Great for pistols, rifles and shotguns
LaserLyte, innovators in firearms laser technologies, are rolling out the first Center Mass Laser for handguns and any firearm with a .70 inch minimum Picatinny rail space. The innovative laser system displays a ring of red laser dots surrounding the center aiming laser for quicker target acquisition and more shots on target. The CM-MK4 projects a ring of 8 red laser dots with one red laser dot in the center as the aiming laser. The circle grows at one-inch per yard, approximately the same configuration as a shotgun aimed at a moving target. The red laser circular pattern gives the user the advantage of a wide field-of-view while using both eyes for aiming. The Laserlyte CM-MK4 allows new shooters the advantage of building muscle reflex skills through learning the sight pattern for their specific firearm. For personal defense firearms, the laser circumvents the user from taking precious time aiming with sights when all the user has to do is position the center aiming laser to on the target. For target shooters with vision discrepancies, the CM-MK4 will bring back the fun in target shooting with more successful hits. The LaserLyte Center Mass Laser is the perfect training aid, personal defense accessory or just plain fun laser for faster, more accurate hits. I think the theory is it gives you a larger laser to find in high stress situations but I personally agree with you.
Mounted it up on my Moss 590. Working great so far. I would also suggest you take caution adjustment screws. They are tiny and strip easily. I turned the (tiny) Allen key slowly .
Can this laser be put on a 38special revolver
I bought one for $30 shipped off Amazon last year.
Looks like the full sized version with the built in pressure pad is also $30. Notice all the reviews on either are 5 or 1 star? Makes you wonder about their QC.

Send that back to them man. They'll send you a new one
I love these lasers! Having said that they do have a lot of issues. These actually are legit (not chinese), i ordered two last time they dipped this low and two more now. I will say i have had issues with poor manufacturing, but they have a 1yr warranty and will completely replace or fix any broken or defective lasers (they also will pay shipping). Also if the laser is not turning on or is going on and off take a q tip and clean the battery connector with a tiny bit of gun solvent or rubbing alcohol. It fixes this right away and that issue is so common i think they should include a swab to clean the residue off the connector in the package.
With the low price I will assume that this is a China knock off...
I bought this one and regret it the adjustment screw is so tiny it strips it and you can't used it, would not buy it
Anyone have experience with these units?
Amazon reviews are fairly mixed, with a number of buyers reporting failures.
I always thought center mass lasers were for shotguns, sounds kinda useless on a pistol. Just an opinion or maybe y'all know summin I don't
