7mm-08 Remington Brass 100/Box
Cartridge: 7 mm - 08 Remington
Quantity: 100

Many shooters have found Lapua brass to be considerably superior in quality to most other brass available. All Lapua cases are strong and uniformly precise. Lapua cases are manufactured to be reloaded, again and again, dozens of times. The base section is hard and strong, and the dimensions remain constant and will hold primers tight in the primer pocket even after repeated reloading. The brass body section is hard and firm. It is easy to extract after firing, whether full length sizing or only neck sizing. Strict tolerances in concentricity and wall thickness are used in manufacturing. The neck and shoulder are annealed to withstand repeated reloading. Packaged in a plastic case, 100 cases per package.

I bought my savage rifle in 7mm-08 5 years ago more or less as a new caliber to try for blacktail deer hunting here in my home state of Oregon. I had heard of the caliber before as more of a bench "wildcat" round back in the 80's. I did some preliminary research and read alot of good things about the round especially for deer and mid size game/predator hunting. So when I found a rifle on sale I bought it. Its a Savage Axis 2 combo rifle and came with a decent 3x9 scope.
Cutting to the chase I will say this rifle has become my favorite bolt action rifle I own and by far the best and most favorite deer hunting rifle that I have ever used. The caliber is such a perfect balance of speed, knock down power and most of all the lack of recoil! This is one of the lightest, easy recoil, easy shooting rifles Ive owned.
I have used it the last 5 yrs and have taken a buck every year since. All but last year it was a one shot one kill with no deer running more than 25 yards before dying. Last year I made a poor shot hitting the ribs too far back and it took a second shot to kill it. The first shot was made while the deer was trotting.
This cakiber shoots very flat and has serious speed. Being a 7mm bullet the knock down power is good too. Now I most likely wouldnt feel comfortable using it to hunt any of the larger and or dangerous game such as larger bears, moose, maybe elk? But its perfect for deer, a wonderful hog round, cougar, coyote, bobcats, and again possibly elk as long as you have a clean shot from a capable well experienced shooter.
I just consider it the perfect mid range caliber and rifle.
I wanna get into reloading so I may buy some brass to get started. I will have to see if this price is good or not as I am new to reloading. I recently purchased a complete used Lyman set up and am teaching myself online how to reload safely and properly.

1 dollar a round for empty brass cases and you have to wonder if it's a good deal ?
Hint: it's not.
