Advanced Warfighter Magazines (AWM) fill the gap between the current metal and polymer magazine designs. These lightweight molded polymer magazines stand up to rough handling and extreme conditions of tactical operations, including heat and impact of sustained full-auto fire. Permanently attached, wrap-around feed lips are made from a single piece of precision formed, hardened steel that is PTFE coated for corrosion resistance. They help promote smooth ammo movement and will not deform when the magazine is stored fully loaded over a long period of time. Tested to withstand temperature extremes of -50 degrees F to +180 degrees F and a 5 foot drop fully loaded, onto concrete without impairment of function. Non-reflective exterior has molded-in ridges and enhanced texturing that improve the structural strength and provide a solid grasping surface. Drops free from mil-spec magwells; load to full capacity and insert into weapons with bolt closed. 30-round model fits pouches designed for standard US-GI-spec magazines. Anti-tilt follower and constant-radius body curve helps ensure smooth, snag-free feeding. Hard polymer base plate provides a positive gripping surface for extracting mag from tight-fitting pouches and removes easily for disassembly and cleaning.

I tried them for the first time over the weekend. I had issues where the mag wouldn't go in unless the bolt was back. Anybody with the same issues? One gun was an AR the other was an RDB keltec

This is the exact reason why most people with military/LEO experience recommend loading only 27-28 rounds in 30 round magazines. It has nothing to do with wearing out springs and everything to do with loading a full magazine on a closed bolt. This is an issue nearly all magazines cause when you load them 100%.

Those are the only ones where I don’t have that issue. They are a pretty big increase in length compared to the Lancers, though.

EDIT: I’ll never buy another things from Botach again, as long as I live.

Try sticking the mag and rifle in the mud and run over it with an 18 wheeler, that should do it.

I’ve not had any issues like this. Hands down best mags money can buy. I use them in MCX, Scar, kel tec rdb, many AR’s, sig 556 Classic, etc... use the 308 versions as well but they are pricy so don’t have very many. Used with my 300 blk out mega arms pistol as well.

Bought it a couple of months ago but didn’t like it for one reason.
Magazine is very good quality, steel lips, spring seems durable, the clear body is definitely a plus but.... impossible to put the magazine all the way when the bolt is close (ARs and Tavor) !
No problem with my GI, Magpul, DD...

Hmm... I use these mags with Tavor SAR, Colt M4 (LE6920), Sig MCX Virtus Patrol. And they go in _easier_ than Magpul PMAGs.

Great mags. I sold all my Magpul and bought these.

One benefit that is important to me is you can keep them loaded without having to use Magpuls "dust cover" to keep the rounds from deforming the feed lips.

I'm not a big SHTF guy, but being able to grab a loaded mag and slap them in without having to deal with or think about "dust covers" is a benefit.

That plus along with performing flawlessly makes them the only AR mags I get from now on.

And Magpul, calling them "dust covers" when we all know the purpose of them is a little disingenuous.

The LAQ coupon code is taking $15 off, but not providing free shipping (for me).

Nevermind, it just doesn't remove the shipping charge until the very last step of checkout, for some reason.

These are NOT clear. I have ordered 20 of these from Brownell recently. They are most definitely translucent smoke. Not quite as 'smoky' as they were a few years ago but definitely smoke. I know the pic doesn't do them justice.

This is kind of a typical deal price for these but these are outstanding magazines. If you are worried about after Nov9, grab these now.
