Ammo shipped quick and as an added bonus Tim sent me a nice large RTIC cup few days later. Now that's how you show customer appreciation! Thanks

I bought two cans. They were rusted on the outside. One was marked 9mm. Inside it was all greentip 556 on stripper clips. Head stamps are Lake City. No internal boxes as pictured. Did have bandoliers and loaders. I have no idea how old this stuff is or how it was stored previously.

There should be a number on the headstanp for the date. The ammo can or boxes, if correct as one appears to be, should also include the lot number with year.

I talked to Tim, he said they're using random cans as they "ran out" of the originals. I took a chance on it. The can is rusty on the outside but clean on the inside. The ammo was on clips but not in boxes, and not packed in the bandoliers. (should be in boxes and already in the bandoliers for mil spec packaging is my understanding.) Headstamp for my order is LC 02, so I assume this is 2002 manufacture. The casings are pretty tarnished and beat up... Honestly, looked like a good deal but now I'm slightly hesitant to fire it.

Sweet deal but the ammo can says "lead free slug". Regular M855/SS109 is lead with steel I believe.

It has a copper penetration core instead of lead. For cheap range ammo you'll never notice the difference.
