At the heart of each Vector is the Super V Recoil Mitigation System. This unique operating system redirects energy down and away from the shooter which eliminates felt recoil by 60% and muzzle climb by 95% when compared to traditional operating systems. The KRISS Vector GEN II is the next evolution of the Vector platform taking it from a firearm into a multi-caliber weapon system. Chambered in .45ACP and 9mm (Coming October 2015) the KRISS Vector is compatible with the ubiquitous Glock magazine. Changing between calibers can be done in seconds without any tools. The KRISS Vector GEN II is more ergonomic with a redesigned trigger a short throw ambidextrous safety lever and a more comfortable pistol grip. The KRISS Vector CRB is the non-NFA semi-automatic carbine variant with a 16 barrel. The adjustable folding stock reduces the overall length of the Vector by more than 8 which helps during storage and transport. Additional standard equipment on the KRISS Vector CRB are the Magpul MBUS sights full length picatinny top rail lower picatinny accessory rail and a Glock magazine. The CRB is civilian legal with compliant models available for most states.

I had nothing but problems with my Vector. Failure to eject / stove piped casings are very common. Normally the side rails are "extra" and aren't included with the carbine so you should check that when considering a purchase. I liked the fact it takes Glock 21 magazines - that's a plus. The mitigated recoil claim is baseless in my experience - just marketing hype to get you to buy their product. I'd argue my Thompson has less muzzle rise than the vector; which can't support a muzzle brake with their dorky fake suppressor thing over the barrel. There are a lot of little things I don't like about this rifle - including safety selector, charging handle and stock. The Gen 2 probably has a better stock than mine but I haven't fired one. Bottom line is the rifle isn't all it's cracked-up to be. Look at how many military / LEO use them. Zero?

Thanks for the information. I _hate_ the fake suppressor, too. I saw an aftermarket head shield, but it made it look like a WW2 era machinegun.

Currently trying to justify buying a PCC to myself.
