Yes, preppergunshop.com is a great shop. I love these Sphinx pistols. Next to my X5's they can't be touched for overall quality.

Prepper is the way to go on the sphinx. Just picked up mine last night.

Prepper had the gun with 5 mags, and a $dollar Veridian light/laser for 950 or 975 for Christmas. Deduct the prices of 3 extra mags and the light/laser, and we can see the markup. And you know they weren't losing money or why bother. It's like buying a Tempurpedic Mattress, the price is the same no matter where you buy it. That being said thay gave away a few hundred in accesories to make the deal more attractive, shows me that they are priced at a certain price and can't be negotiated. Only something added to make it palatable.

Yes and everything I have read on this gun, says it's extremely overpriced. it's not even a semi custom gun, it's still aluminum not steel, and aluminum guns have problems long term with slides. Groups were no better than any of the $600 dolar and lower guns. They got very confused onthis gun, and with no one endorsing it, good luck, I would take a loaded SP01 any day like Yellow said. This is all about the inside the rails aspect and branding, not the gun.

When I "email them for a better price" and it comes back at around $500 I'll buy one but not at this price. ..

There's plenty of market for a pistol such as this. The fit, finish and overall quality of this gun are right in line with guns at twice this price. A all aluminum frame, threaded barrel, an amazing trigger all for less than a comparable SIG. KRISS has dropped the ball on night sights but this is an otherwise excellent product. My CZ Custom shop shadow cost more and really can't compare with these aluminum framed Sphinx pistols.

What they're all saying...

Seriously I have to hand it the Kriss Kross USA for their innovative marketing and design. I feel for the "virtually zero recoil" on the Vector but soon unloaded the cool looking flex machine to get something useful. Fun toys but hardly worth what they sell them at.

I'll stick with my CZ thank you... I can buy 2 P-07 models and have money left over for ammo to shoot them.

These were on sale at Preppers a while back, and still sat there. They were around 700 if I remember, There is no way that a pistol that is really not that well known will sell in this market of 500 dollar guns.
Uless it makes you breakfest. Watch for either a huge price drop, or a dissapearing product. IMHO. You can buy a rifle and a pistol in this market for a thousand bucks.

$922 for an unproven 9mm pistol?... https://youtu.be/Mi6hZVFcCLg...

What is not proven about it? It's a high end CZ 75 clone, sort of like saying an Ed Brown 1911 is unproven. I know Swiss are not known for quality goods, look at their watches, Rolex and Omega pure junk.

Did Kriss/Sphinx come up with night sights for these? Or is the front sight the same as a nonOHMYGAWD priced pistol.
