These are the KNS Precision Generation 2 Mod 2 pin sets. These are the STRONGEST pins that can be produced and were designed to withstand the high impact of full and semi-auto 9mm, .223, and 7.62mm suppressed weapons. The pins are stainless steel. Black sideplates are black nitride treated, all other color options are DuraCoated. An absolute must-have for all M-16 owners. They will also protect your AR-15. Special anti-creep retainers prevent wear on your irreplaceable M-16 or AR-15 receiver. Pin installation tool & 2 Torx wrenches included. No modification to firearm required. THE TORQUE SPEC ON THE SCREW IS 11 inch/lbs. MAXIMUM. We recommend 8 INCH/LBS of torque. IMPORTANT NOTE: The external width of some AR receivers may vary in the trigger/hammer pin area depending on the manufacturer. The pins being slightly too long will not affect the function or performance.

-Never had hammer/trigger pins rotate out of place - ever.
-Never met a person whose hammer/trigger pins rotated out of place.
-Was the commander of a maintenance unit in an IBCT. Not a single M4 jobbed in for rotating hammer/trigger pins.
-My armament warrant said he has never seen rotating hammer/trigger pins and he has seen thousands of M4s.

I was a 2112 (look it up) and have seen lowers with egg shaped pin holes. I have seen pins break. I have seen pins walked out on the range and removed the unsafe weapon from the kids hands before shit got weird.
If you haven't seen this you either didn't serve, or were in the air force.
All heavy use weapons I built either had locking pins of some sort, or a tig tap to keep them in place.
Under full auto all pins (even these) will walk all over the place.
