What a Gem, no wonder why Kimber's on this site get a lot of *thumbs up* like I do, they are Very Good ! 8-P
Sellior & Bellot makes some decent 10 ammo at about the lowest price, once in a while you might be able to get some a little less expensive. If any one is looking to buy this give the Glock 40 MOS a look over, mine came with a pack of assorted mounting plates for the top rail/slide to accommodate the particular red dot you plan to use, has a very good trigger also. Good Luck.
So the MOS has or does not have a top rail? Which is it?
BTW, how do you keep downvoting my comments if you "muted" me ;)
LOL.
Kimber makes some nice handguns, this particular model appears to be good for a hunter wanting to lighten the load and leaving the long gun at home for 50 +/- yard shots, for the range time fun can be kind of expensive for ammo. I lean towards the 10mm Glock 40 MOS because of the rail for mounting a red dot for the hunt though.
The 10mm Glock 40 MOS does not have a "rail" to mount a red dot....it does have a cutout on the slide in which a red dot could be mounted to but that is completely different.
BTW, magic how you saw my post well enough to downvote me even if you claim I'm "muted." Huh ;)

Nice *looking* handguns that are notoriously and unforgivably unreliable for the price.

Huh? WTF, are you hunting?

Yep, Duane all day. How many times have you been banned now?
Nothing says 'unless wall hanger' more than a Kimber chambered in 10mm.
But, but , Metal Injection Molding : (
Long slide 1911's are pretty cool. I have a 6" Springfield and a 7" AMT both in 45acp. The Springfield is very reliable but the AMT is finicky with certain hollowpoints. Both are soft shooting and accurate though. Don't think I'd every carry one though... having many better options available.
