Aluminum frame though.
That can be a pro or a con depending on what you want.
Just a heads up there.
Agreed. There’s a specific magazine to run with the aluminum frame models that won’t gouge the inside of the frame upon empty. Do some research, but it’s good to go after that.
Also, the LW frames tend to feel more snappy with recoil compared to the full steel frame brethren.
"LW" is used in the title as an abbreviation for "Light Weight", which accounts for it having an aluminum frame.
Damn I wish this was a double stack.. I'd buy one. The 9+1 capacity seems awful low for a full sized 1911. Could it be these are "commie compliant" models or is that actual pistol capacity?
9 round 9mm in govt. frame 1911 is standard flush fit. Double stack 1911's are considerably more expensive. These offer 1911 familiarity and substance in a relatively light recoiling caliber.
