Would not recommend.. Had gas issues with mine out the box company suggested changing ammo. Fired two shots and they both stoved in the barrel it was hell trying to get them out without having a rod to poke it through the barrel. Crap

Sent an email because there is a repeated buffer tube option lower down on the list for additional prices. Because the additional options aren't explained past their titles, there's no way to know what you're actually getting. Also, shockwave blade is in the title but comes down as an added price in one of the drop down boxes so the price shown is base price with nothing on it, I assume since they can't explain.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm interested but I won't waste more money because they are either too lazy to proofread their coding or trying to double dip.

I purchased the 7.62 version and didn't add any extra options. It came with the blade and I purchased extra mags from them as well.. Not sure about others experiences but they've answered all my emails in a timely manner. Good luck

So aside from the price tag, does this hold up? Because I was just gonna go with a Galil Ace but saving 1200 would be nice too.

What is a Shockwave blade?

It's the rearmost part of the pistol. Not a stock, but a blade. The part attached to the buffer tube.

I have never had any problems with KG. I have a KG Wraith 16 in 9mm upper with KG BCG. It runs flawlessly and is a tack driver.

Sounds like a great deal but i suggest staying away from these guys, they'll take your money but if you have any problems response times to emails are around 2 days and they wont help with any shipping if you send it back to get fixed ontop of that if you decide to return it because they couldn't fix it they charge a hefty restocking fee. Its better to pay $100 dollars more and go with some reputable company

They couldnt fix it?? Or, you didnt allow them to fix it under warranty?

ARs arent rocket science, well actually, they were originally aircraft science, but have evolved into one of the most easy to build and fix, with readily available low priced mil spec parts, how to videos on YouTube, forums and blogs, in the world. Even if you refuse to learn to do it yourself, take that $100 extra and go to your local gunsmith who can give it a once over, change a $10 part if needed, you will have yourself a quality weapon and some change left out of your hundred dollars, meaning your total cost is still below almost all other competitors.

BTW, "an assembled and test fired upper" does not mean the mfg put 100 rounds downrange with a variety of ammo, like a user will, and I hope you cleaned and lubed it after opening the box, as cycling a full mag is way different than one or two rounds on the test range. Given that uppers dont have a serial number, they are real easy and cheap to ship for service if you do have an issue.

The problem i faced with this company was with a $599 AR-10 and it would not fire reliably. I lubed it up with Lucas gun oil as i do with my M1A and my DSA SA58 and i fired a round of .308 or atleast i tried to fire a round but the hammer would drop with no bang 1 out of 3 shots, if it did fire it would not cycle reliably most of the time not picking up the next round or it would slide the next round way up and BCG would dent the casing. I fired every brand Academy had on the shelf and to my surprise the only ammo that cycled reliably was steel cased .308 but thats not my cup of tea, i emailed the company and on my dime sent the BCG and they sent me a new one for no reason as i asked if they inspected the old BCG and they said no. The rifle still didnt run correctly you only had to put 3 rounds in the magazine and you would have experienced a malfunction. I then sent the whole rifle on my dime and they sent it back with nothing done to it saying it worked flawless. So i sent it a third time back and told them if they couldnt fix it to return my money to which they said it ran fine, I then asked for them to send me a video of it firing flawlessly i wouldnt mind paying 5 bucks for them to fire 5 rounds on video but they didnt want to even though i recorded a few of it never working with me. Just all in all this company would take days to respond which i could forgive if they fixed the problem but then they took weeks to not do anything and then the money order they sent me with the "refund" took about a month.
From my understanding they make everything inhouse so it could be things being out of spec that caused me trouble but id hate to see anyone else have problems and be tossed aside by there customer support

They have some really low prices right now, but after doing some snooping around on gundeals comments (like this one), I'm just gonna go with PSA. The wild variability in reliability is not worth the $30 savings. Really unfortunate. I'd rather support a small business.

Great Deal, a whole pistol for about the same price of building your own.
