Spend an extra $10 and get a good made in the USA ken onion kershaw. I bought 3 off amazon for $20...hell of a difference between the cheap Chinese and made in the USA ones.

I love mine at it's price point. The Oso Sweet’s 3.1-inch blade is made of Chinese 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, not Sandvik 14C28N. It's a decent steel for a budget blade. It is easy to sharpen and holds and edge a reasonable amount of time. Light, good grip, right side only tip up or tip down carry. Assisted opening is very snappy via the flipper, no thumb studs. Most places carry this knife for around $22-25 normal price, with sales often seen for $19.99. For $12 this is a heck of a deal.

Asshats who poo poo all Chinese knives need to either tell us about a better flipper for $12 or STFU. If you are a knife snob who would never carry a budget blade please keep it to yourself. Same for the idiots who buy any knife thinking they will never have to sharpen or oil it, or complain that it broke "after a little light prying."

good knife for $12

good price, good knife.
this is a good knife at its regularly priced $22 cost but at this discounted price is an excellent deal. I have several kershaw knives and Kershaw makes one of the best spring assisted flippers anywhere near its price point. Very swift and satisfying assisted action. Definitely a must buy at this price.

I love my Kershaw Speedsafe knife. It flips open immediately and holds a solid edge. I run it through a sharpener once a month just to keep it maintained. This is a solid deal. The stainless steep should clean a little easier than the unit I purchased.

I originally voted down based on the title mentioning AUS6 steel. Some of the Amazon reviewers received knives in 8cr13MoV which is more comparable to AUS8. For the price the 8cr13MoV is a good value.

The Amazon listing states that it is indeed 8cr13MoV, which is the only steel I've ever seen it made in. I've got one and love it at it's price point. It's got a good grip, nice assisted opening and about as small as I like a knife with a 3" blade. It only has a flipper lever, no thumb studs which combined with it's small size make it a little easier to forget it's in your pocket. Easy to sharpen and holds an edge a reasonable amount of time considering it's cost. Pocket clip is tip up or tip down, but right side only. It sells a lot of places for around $22-25, goes on sale often around $19.99, so $12 is a deal.

I'm tired of idiots who label every knife made in China as garbage because they are either knife snobs or just hating on China. If you know a better folder for $12 please let us know or STFU.

I have one of these knives, and the above comments are quite accurate - in particular, the blade to handle ratio is quite high, almost to the point that when extended it doesn't look like the blade will actually fold into the handle - but it obviously does. Also bear in mind that it can be slightly difficult to deploy the blade for someone with big hands because there isn't much handle "real estate" to hold on to
