You swapped it to 9mm? So, they remove the barrel and give you a 9mm one, then swap correct parts for 9mm ammo usage(mag release/catch, grip, mags, etc)?
Was patient and found one for 422 after taxes. Glad I didn't give in to higher prices. It was the black one but I plan on doing a custom camo job on it anyway. After using it I have to say it's an amazing firearm and I plan on getting another if I can find the same price.
Hard to find but is it worth $130 more? I guess that's up to you. "Deals" on these are around $370. Why are some Keltecs so damn hard to find? I've been looking for a cmr for some time now but not for and overpriced one. You'd think they'd have to up production at some point, right?

I'm an ffl. Been trying to get one for myself forever. I have .40 but want 9mm. Will pay the 500. I want it. Keltec stuff is decent quality. Tried this one....too late.

OK so you guys cry rape let's see.... 5 sub 2k 9mm on gun brok er....only one you can buy now is used at 800. All gen 1 by the way. Gunzmerika only has 1 9mm for sale at 700, also gen 1. This seems like a killer deal, and if it's 200 bucks more then you (let's face it) won't spend anyway then buy 2 and flip 1 to make up the diff. I NEVER see 9mm sub2ks for sale because they are frigging popular. While we're at it can you name a cheaper 9mm carbine for sheets and giggles? Say hi point and I'll slap a kitten. /rage
I waited patiently for my local ffl to get some in. gen2 FDE 425 out the door including tax. Hell this past november i was at a gunshow where they were selling a stack of black gen 2 9mm glock models for 395.00... it businesses like that that get my repeat business. Look, I buy a lot of guns. i'm not desperate for any of them. unreasonable prices make me call it like it is. If you are in the gun SELLING business, they shouldn't take a CTD approach.
I know these are hard to find but $130 extra? I agree with the previous comments. This is just bad press for this business.....definitely not a deal.
This is a gougers "rapetail" price not retail Price. Shame on them.
Would love to see these in higher production eventually. Price seems high either way and should be 399-429 Max on these IMO.
Best thing to do. Buy the Gen2 Sub 2K in 40SW with Glock Mags. Then send it to Kel-Tec. They will do a caliber swap for $40. And send you 2 mags. Just did it with mine. Took 6-7 weeks to get back, but well worth it.
