I had one a few years ago and don't believe the barrel was rifled. When taken to the range I had numerous bullets that would tumble through the target; I haven't had that happen on any of my other guns. But, for $145 plus shipping, you can't beat this deal.

Gunprime is a fantastic company to deal with. I bought one of these just before a holiday weekend and it still arrived quickly. My local gun shop was already in Gunprime's list of FFL dealers, which made the transfer a breeze. Penny at customer support was also very friendly, helpful and fast to respond to my question.

As mentioned, this pistol does have quite a bit of recoil for a 9mm, but that's what makes it challenging and fun to me. It makes my snappy LCP 380 feel like a 22LR (exaggerating, though I've modified my LCP recoil springs to 13 lbs after my extractor broke and Ruger replaced it. I contacted Wolff gunsprings and they didn't know if the P-11 recoil calibration pack would fit the PF-9 because they didn't have one in-house).

My PF-9 barrel is rifled with deeper grooves than my LCP. The LCP rifling was very faint, brand new from the factory. (All of the various brand bullets I fired and recovered do have rifling marks though.)

If you have wide/fat fingers, you might get some trigger bite with the PF-9. I have skinny fingers so I don't notice. A couple of 3rd-party trigger replacements are available.

Had one of these a couple years ago. Kicked like a mule because its too lite, and the slide would manage to cut into the top of my hand next to the thumb because of how little clearance there is above the grip. But it was reliable and the belt clip made it able to be concealed just about anywhere.. I wouldnt buy it again, but if you want something to go bang, $150 is a good price.

I don't know why the PF9 is so snappy. I have a Shield and have shot both an XDS9 and XDS45. The PF9 recoils like the XDS45. Both the XDS9 and Shield are comfortable to shoot. PF9 does go bang every time and that trigger is about as smooth and light as you get for a DAO (if rather long)

Kel-Tecs don't look like much, but they fire and feed well in my experience with 2 of them.

I’m holding out for the limited edition Trayvon Martin release. Comes with a hoody, skittles, Arizona tea, and divorced parents.

card price is $5 more, but if $5 is a deal breaker, you probably shouldnt be in the market for a firearm

You have no excuse not to buy one of these at this price. Yes, they work fine idiots. And at sub-200 bucks, a perfect stash gun.

Just Do It! Try it out and if you dont like it, you can always get 200 out of it. I suggest brass 115gr and 124gr, 100 rounds of FMJ break in and then JHPs, and maybe a little hogue grip or shooting glove until you get used to it.

Was my EDCC for 7 Years until it got stolen out of my car outside a no carry venue where the bad guys know to go shopping! Ran fine and I was very comfortable with its reliability on 115gr and 124gr brass ammo, both FMJ and JHP. I shot mainly WWB, Fed Champion and Am Eagle 115 FMJs and Federal Classic 115gr JHPs were my carry round. I now carry a second gen DB9 and it eats the same diet just fine. The quality, fit and finish is nicer on the Diamondback, and I much prefer the Striker fired DB9 trigger over the long and heavy DAO on the PF9, but the lack of a slide lock on the DB9 makes me consider going back. Neither gun is for a novice shooter, form is important (limp wristing will cause jams), as is ammo choice (<124gr) with any lightweight 9mm under 20oz, its a matter of physics and material science when it comes to absorbing recoil and keeping it directed to cycle the slide. Bottom Line, Under $200, this deal is a big thumbs up.

Hey Jimmy pig lover...I can already see me getting more exercise going to the range every week than you do sitting at the computer every day crying on your posts. You have a much better chance of being in an auto accident then being shot with a gun from a non violent crime crime, yet your stupid ass gets in your car and goes to work everyday... then again someone like you is probably is on ObamaLife and has no job, no guns. Get back to your gay porn sites Sparkey before I smack you in the face with a package of Twinkies and I'll have you tearing up like a Soldier coming out of a gas chamber.

YMMV but the one I've owned for about 7 years has worked fine. It's a stash gun. Keep it in the motorcycle kit. I shoot it every now and then and it runs fine. At sub-$200? If you have to use it in self defense and it does end up in an evidence locker, it's better then giving up your $900 1911 to the cops.

That is what a lot of people think. But I would rather have my $450 Springfield sitting in an evidence locker because it worked rather than me lying in the morgue because this piece of crap didn't. I have seven more pistols to carry until I get my other from the police.

In the US, you have an overall 0.00743494424 percent chance of dying due to violent crime (http://media.economist.com/sites/default/files/media/2014InfoG/databank/IR2a.pdf...). Meanwhile, heart disease is the number one killer in the United States. Maybe you should be eating more vegetables rather than playing with guns.

Actually, heart disease is not the #1 killer in the US. it is #2 @ around 610,000 deaths per year. The number one killer in the US is abortion which is anywhere from 650,000+ to over a million+ deaths depending on the year. Just because some don't consider it a human death, doesn't mean it isn't. Not trying to start anything, but if you're pro-life, this information is helpful. Let's all carry guns and have babies!!! :)

Yep. 100% correct. Cut out a fetus from a mothers belly and ask HER if it is murder. I believe she will agree...just before taking an icepick to your eyes.

the biggest piece of shit gun I ever owned. When they first came out 20 yrs ago I thought nice, a real small 9mm. It never worked properly and I know guns much more that the average Joe. The Chamber was cut wrong, and the 147 grain FMJ would fire one time and FTF, FTE. I researched it because it fired the 115 grain fine. Then I found out that KelTek fucked up and knew about it, but failed to recall the guns. Piece of shit company, Zimmerman was lucky the thing went off. Most were single shot guns, look at the Yankee marshals utube about this company, it's true they have the highest failure rate of any other gun company.

They no longer have the title of “Highest Failure Rate”, that title went officially to Obama.
