On the Gen 1 the red lion rail system allows you to turn the rail system sideways so you can still fold it. This could easily fit into a backpack. Both the Gen 1 and Gen 2 have quick release mounts on the red dots but I almost never have a reason to fold them up so in the last maybe 5 years I have not removed them. The folding is neat but the gun is so small and light that it what I have done is just put a forward handle on the lower rail and use the forward handle to hang from the top shelf of my safe. Open the safe and they are ready to go. If you really need to fold it the sights on this are bright and honestly are really easy to use and both came out of the box very accurate. However they are also extremely easy to adjust. I prefer the reddots but with the quick release there is not an issue if I need them off quickly to fold or if let’s say a battery was dead. Hope this helps.

I have two of these and have shot them with my son and daughters quite a bit. They are inexpensive, light, and easy to shoot. They never fail to load and feed anything I have thrown at them from 9mm 115 rn to 9mm 147 HP. On the Gen 1, I have a red lion rail system. The Gen 2 is factory stock, and I have used the Mystic X suppressor on it on a few occasions. Both have red dots and flashlights, and both were easily used by my daughters and wife. I mention my wife and daughters because if you are looking for something that is easily lifted, has a big magazine, and can be carried by someone that does not have the strength to lug around an AR, this may be just the thing. The treaded barrel was good for the suppressor and helped teach the middle daughter how to shoot it. If I had to defend my home, my daughter and wife would be armed with these. If you have a sportsman guide membership, this is a pretty good deal after the rebate. You still have to pay Taxes, and SG puts a $14.99 gun fee. If you buy it at SG, you are looking at about $300 total after the rebate. Not really a fan of SG, but I am a fan of this gun.

Where did you put your red dot considering the top rail collapses onto itself? Or is it always stowed full size at the ready?

This is not the price you will get after they adding a lot of fees to the bill. Plus it assumes that you are already their member, which means another $20 adds to the listed price if you are not. I went purchased from gunbuyers and got $415 in total, which was actually cheaper than what I would pay for this deal.

Incorrect. Only 3 models are excluded. Straight from their terms & conditions...

The following SUB-CQB SKUs are excluded: SUB2K9CQBGLK17BBLK, SUB2K9CQBGLK19BBLK,
SUB2K9CQBMPBBLK.

Taxes, fees, and needing to be a club member just to get the price which is another fee makes this not a deal and more expensive than other sites

I ordered mine a week ago first time this has popped up this someone posted post-election thinking at this price it was a gen 1 when I went to my FFL the pickup today delivery was surprised to see it was a Gen 2 no issues with me being a Gen 2 with the rail system and better front sight on it plus threaded barrel

Nobody sells gen 1s anymore. I ordered a sub from Whittaker with a gen 1 photo and it's a gen 2. These people posting pictures never update them.

It's a gen 2 quit thinking it's not

smart answer wish every one understand this point ---

I don't understand why this is a "smart answer".

Update your page with a stock photo, like a company that's interested in making a sale instead of assuming it's our jobs to assume what is or is not being sold anymore. It's lazy.
Adamsgunshop listed one of these a month ago with a gen1 photo again. All comments about how expensive it was for a gen1.

Maybe people will start clicking checkout if somebody did their job.

According to the item number and checking on keltecs website, this is in fact the gen. 2 model "WX2" signifies this. Hope it helps
