Will not fire with stock folded.
I have 2, 1 in G22 (.40) and another in G17 (9mm). Very fun and folds to a hair over 16".

For such an innovative company they sure are dumb to not make enough 9mm Glock versions.

I don't understand why Kel Tec makes this in anything but a Glock 9 mm. That is the magazine and caliber that almost everybody is trying to find. I've looked for one of these for years at a reasonable price. You can always find a non-Glock 9 mm for cheap.

Can it shoot with stock folded? :)

Of course it can shoot with the stock folded, you just have to hold it backwards so you don't shoot yourself in the face.... :) Love it arararar!!!

No, the stock does not fold. The stock contains parts of the firing assembly and cannot be removed.

Dear mods, please ban the blind/gullible/handicapped person that bumped this item back to the front page at a price that's nearly double what it should be. Likely a sockpuppet for the dealer.

Everyone else, take note of the dealer for this item and the gouge-level pricing and remember them when it comes time for future purchases and recommendations to friends.

Definitely supply and demand pricing. I have a 9mm version. There are some great mods available for these. Indexed forearms so optics can be used with this rifle and it can still be folded, upgraded internal hardware kit (springs, aluminum trigger, screw kit, etc.), upgraded front and rear sights, cheek rest... This is a fun gun to shoot and 9mm ammo is almost back to normal price (post knucklehead hording prices).

What a rip

I purchased the .40 glock version from Bud's about a month ago for $317. I enjoy this as much as anything I own.

Yeah, this is a rip and a half.

I just got the 226 9mm sub2k for 315 bucks...dont buy this gun. Let the retailer drop the price.

I really wanted one of these last year. In my experience, retailers get a small quantity in stock after a long wait. They know it is worth more than the MSRP because more people want one than is produced. Because of this, they put them on auction on GunBroker and get more than the MSRP. The going rate for one of these is around $500, often more. They seem to move pretty quickly on Armslist at $600. If someone puts them on in my area (Atlanta) at $500, they are usually gone in 1-2 days. I got one in .40 Glock last year and I love it. I bought a bunch of 22 round Glock mags and this thing is reliable and dangerous. It sits upright under my desk for home defense.

I'd buy the Glock 9mm for $300. Definitely wouldn't buy at this price.

I owned one in .40 glock version.. Didn't like cheap mags had to use real glock mags .. But it was sweet .. Folded it would fit anywhere. And very accurate 50-75 yards for me.. I would recommend this carbine but not at this price..

failsauce gouging.

I don't understand why all the Brands don't make a 9mm carbine rifle.

Never shot one of these, but held one at a gun show. Very cheap feeling.

I own the glock model and I love it. Light weight, accurate, great camping rifle an it just works very reliable. Unfortunately the price on these is ridiculous. I got mine when they were much cheaper. Still now that I have one I will never sell it. It is usefully and great fun.

Plenty of favorable reviews out there ...here's one to start ==> http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2010/08/captain-john-raguso/gun-review-kel-tec-sub-2000-40/...

Perfect for wife/teenagers for home defense. Get it in 9mm with factory 33rd magazines and tell them to spray 10 in the general vicinity and if the bad guy decides to keep coming they have another two dozen in reserve.

Fill the mags with some 124gr federal HST HP's and you're GTG.

If you don't mind waiting on a Looonnng list go to here http://www.cdnninvestments.com/... and get on the list. I saw someone recently say they got one for $400 after a 9+ month wait.

Yeah great advice. Tell a family member to spray 10 rounds of 9mm and end up hitting a neighbor or some other innocent bystander and end up in prison.

GREAT advice. lol

What a ripoff! MSRP on Kel-tec's site is $409. Hard to buy from someone who believes in gouging their customers.
