Mine is a fantastic counterpart to the pistol and I'm apparently the lucky one who has had zero issues with either. Light, accurate, and more powerful than a 22LR. Completely awesome.

Why the hate?

Mine is light and accurate but the magazine is finicky and has to be loaded just right or there will be issues

It's the pistol with a longer piece of tubing stuck on the barrel, and some aluminum stuck on the side like those Romy carbine kits they sell for glocks, The stock looks like it is ready to fall off if you pull it too hard. Basically it looks like someone made it in their garage. Why would anyone buy this, a 223 is the same price if not less, and the ammo is also. It serves no purpose.

A friend has this and it is a blast to shoot very accurate right out the box. I have not seen any issues with his at all I would buy one if the ammo wasn't so high and not as available

Nice diatribe , But this was only a comment about one gun made by a manufacturer that's had some great success and some huge failures.. There definitely isn't an argument since you quoye youself and agree with yourself in the post that you made.. But the only issues I see are that you talked about a consensus of all the firearms manufactured by the company and not the one in question and then somehow equated owning two firearms from the company as being the firearm in question.. I have to have a chuckle at that . Those two things really are detrimental to your whole post. Do they make some poor firearms , you bet . Is the PMR 30 or RMR30 also a poor firearm ? Not from my actual hands on experience . As far as price ? I saw grown men pay $50 a piece for 30 rnd pmags over 3 years ago.. So thats a total wash.. And as far as comparing a .22 mag to an Ar , well that's just silly...

That's the problem with this company, you either get a good gun or a bad gun. It's hit and miss, Mine were all misses. It's not worth arguing about, because if you were lucky enough to get a working as intended weapon, you really think guys just are bad mouthing the Company.
In fact they aren't, best way to explain it is to watch the Yankee Marshalls Utube video on KelTek,and even though he is a bit "over the top" he is correct about the acceptable failure rates of the guns they produce.
Now someone will say Glocks fail also, but there are 10 million Glocks out there in the Military and Police departments, If 1000 clocks fail it's still under 1%, wher as if 1000 Kelteks fail it's like 30%, "estimates" so you can't make those types of comparisons, but if a gun company has more than 1-3% failure rates, I don't want to own one, and I have had two terrible Kelteks in my 55 years of shooting, also had over a dozen Glocks and never had a problem with one of them, So I must go on my own experience and agree that they have far too many fucked up guns out there, and they mark them up way too high, IE 349 for a PMR30, and 2 days later 650 from anothet dealer, now that's just rediculous, they are a 350 dollar gun, the carbine add another hundred maybe 150, but that's all they are worth, you can ger an AR pistol for 5 hundred anyware now, what would you prefer if you were in a bad situation.

Single shot ? I've had my PMR30 for years and it goes bang through all 30 rounds per magazine.

Cool gun assuming they are now making them to actually function as a semi-auto and not a single shot. Anyone know if they have done anything to improve reliability or should we just buy a Crickett instead?
