The RDB™ is the new definition of bullpup. Its downward shell ejection system eliminates the side ejection disadvantage of ordinary bullpups. The result is brass and gas that eject out of your line of sight making it a truly ambidextrous, high performance rifle for everyone. The RDB is also adjustable for a wide variety of ammunition and makes for an excellent suppressor host. It’s definitely the bullpup done right.

Got one of these last month from Preppers Guns on an Gunbroker auction for about $75 less. MSRP on Keltec's site is about what they want for this one. I've seen them go lower if you catch the right auction. It's fairly light and compact but definitely a learning curve on operating a bullpup. For example, you can't cycle and fire the action without a loaded clip, so best get some snap caps. Shorter than even most AR Pistols. Breaks down very easy and seems well built. Those sights seem sturdy and flip down easily. Only problem is that it broke on my first range trip after 19 rounds. Chambers ok but act like trigger isn't cocked. Support was decent from Keltec and given its newness they emailed a prepaid Fedex label to return it. Hopefully it won't be out long. Comforting that they offer lifetime warranty to original owner. Glad I kept its original packaging!

Looks like something CA would make you buy
Deserves 10 TD for being so goddamn fugly

So California would 'make you buy' a very concealable semi auto rifle, with a tiny OAL, that takes 30+ round mags, and does not require a "tool" to swap magazines.

Didn't think before you spoke....like normal?

Yet another fail "Fuktard."

Well, most people got LiberalFuktard's post. Too bad the REAL LiberalFuktard didn't comprehend it.

IDK guys, I love Kel-Tec. I will agree that this is NOT one of their prettier designs, but having a KSG, they are really really excellent. I have not had ANY jams or issues since day one.

If you buy a $1000 keltec go to gulag.

Yep, still as ugly as it was last posting. Ridiculous too.

To me this is way too expensive...I bought a RFB for $20 less that shoots 308 just last month.

Unfortunately it's a result of the big gun buying panic. Everything is hundreds of dollars more than it should be right now. I actually lucked out same as you on an RFB. Bought one of the 24 inch models right before the whole panic started for $999. Now RFB's are $1,300 at the cheapest lol.

Normally don't comment on something being overpriced. This seems to be the exception. Too expensive

Also, that front sight looks like it'd bend/break if you dropped it. Not a feature I'd want in a "survival rifle".

I want to like Kel-Tec stuff but I'm still pissed off at my KSG-25. It's less than a year old, but has jammed up/had ejection issues since the first time out. I don't want to send it back to Kel-Tec because there's a pretty big debate in CO as to whether it's legal. The stupid high-capacity magazine law is so convoluted in regards to shotguns, I'm not sure if I'd get it back if they swapped it. I'm guessing they'd just repair it, but I still remember Bushmaster sending me a brand new Carbon 15 when I realized one of the screw holes for the rail was stripped (cracked probably, from a bubble during molding). They could've just replaced the upper, but I had to go through the FFL process again.

Maybe I'll call them and see if they'll send me parts/instructions on how to do it myself. I've looked online and can only find how the first gen had this problem.

A true survival rifle wouldn’t be something you have to go through an FFL to purchase.

What does that even mean? Are you going to make a rifle out of black iron, a spring, nail, and a crude trigger and expect to 'survive' longer than 3 minutes after TEOTWAWKI?

What makes this a SHTF gun? Actually wondering

Reliable, accurate, common ammo, lethal at range; most of the rest is just bs. AR's fit the bill but can be finicky, Ak's have an ammo disadvantage, unless vodka in your area is more plentiful than potable water. 300blk is my new go to, but I'm counting rounds. Diversity is the real winner, and the AR platform has it spades.

If your AR is finicky, you've got the wrong AR. And probably Golden Bullet or Winchester ammo.

Thinking more so on builds other than .556, that's pretty solid, but they still can't out perform the abuse tolerance of an AK. Win's never done me wrong, but I stay away from golden, and tula's hit or miss.
