Good Price on a Zimmerman Special, I carried one for 7 years before moving to better triggers on the LC9s and then after noticing the extra weight when carrying, I have now moved to a DB9 at 11oz for my EDCC

Congratulations on your new purchase. Please post your range report when you have a chance. I am very interested to learn about your personal experience with this piece. On Buds, 10% of those who purchased give a negative feedback about the gun. Hope your experience will be positive.

I've owned 2 different PF9's and highly recommend it for concealed carry. It is small, light-weight, reliable, and accurate once you get used to the recoil. However, there is a trade-off to its light weight. Recoil is pretty significant. You get used to it and accuracy isn't bad once you do get used to it but it is not a lot of fun to shoot. It is not a gun you will take to the range for fun so if you're not looking for a good concealed carry handgun I wouldn't recommend it; it is great for concealment and $200 is a really good price though.

I'm kinda surprised this isn't in the website's FAQ section so Imma put this here:

Q: Can I purchase firearms online?

A: Yes, you most certainly can! The process is actually quite simple; just follow these steps:

1) Find the item you want. (Like the many deals posted here, for example!)

2) Find an FFL (Federal firearms license) holder to complete the transfer. You can't just have firearms shipped to you; they need to be shipped to an FFL holder where you can pick them up (and complete a federally-mandated background check). Most FFLs will charge a nominal fee for this; prices may vary depending on where you live. ($25 seems to be an "average" price.)

3) Get your FFL to send a copy of his license to the place that has the gun(s) you want. Usually you can do this by e-mail or fax; the website will list instructions on how to send a copy of the FFL to them. Just take this information to your FFL and he'll do the rest.

4) Place your order, making sure to indicate - either in the shipping section or comments section, usually - that you want the gun sent to the correct FFL.

5) Wait the agonizing few days for your gun to arrive. Usually your FFL will give you a call when it gets in.

6) Head on over to the FFL, fill out the paperwork (firearm transfer document and NICS or state background check - the standard charge for this is $5), and wait for the confirmation to come in... yes, you read that right; sometimes there won't be an instant "OK" and you'll have to wait a day or two for the results to come in. (You can also be denied, which is a whole 'nother issue that we won't get into here.)

7) Once the background check comes back clear and your paperwork is all filled out you're ready to take possession of your firearm(s)! PLEASE don't forget, however, to do a thorough inspection of your purchase before agreeing to take possession - if something's wrong with the gun and you refuse the transfer most reputable businesses will take the gun back at no charge and either issue a refund or send you a replacement. If you take possession and then notice a problem you'll have to deal with the manufacturer's warranty in most cases.

Good luck with your purchase!

Also, could we get a brief mention and maybe an FFL finder link in the FAQ, folks? Like this one (shows FFL transfer prices but isn't all-inclusive): http://www.gunbroker.com/FFL/SearchForFFL.aspx...

I see folks downvoted this... this site could really use an indicator of why people vote the way they vote (like if less than three stars, a choice of reasons why the deal's bad and if more than three stars a reason why it's good).

Any better PF9 deals around? Looking to pick up a CC gun soon.

People downvoted this because you have to be a VIP member of Budsgunshop to be eligible for that price.
