Description

This simple and reliable pump action bullpup feeds from either the left or right tube. The feed side is manually selected by a lever located behind the trigger guard.
The pump includes an under picatinny rail for the mounting of a forward grip, a light, or a laser. The included top picatinny sight rail will accept many types of optics or iron sights. Forward and rear sling loops are built in, and a basic sling is included. The soft rubber butt pad helps to tame recoil.
The KSG receiver is made from hardened steel and includes the magazine tubes which have been welded in place. The grip and stock assembly is made of glass reinforced nylon (Zytel) and is easily disassembled by pushing out 2 pins, which store in 2 holes in the grip when removed. The barrel and pump assembly is removed by loosening the 2 front magazine tube nuts with a coin and sliding the assembly forward.

Most vertical grips attach with one screw. Anytime you attach something to a polymer rail on a 12ga shotgun, you need at least two screws (and probably three).

High-tech makes a metal pic rail overlay (linked earlier in the thread) that slides over the polymer rail and attaches in 4 places. This allows a single screw vertical grip to attach securely enough to be safe.

I opted for the overlay and a 3d printed version of the hera foregrip (modified to use a 3rd screw).

I have tried to force an accident (while dry firing), up to and including holding the ksg by only the foregrip and doing a one-handed vertical rack, and was unable to do so.

Missing fingers? Stay away from "airsoft" quality vertical grips & get this too.

Careful running vertical grips on these. I have seen very ugly pictures of a fellow who snapped the grip off the rail as he drove it forward and pulled the trigger.

Not much of a left hand remained.

Would be a better deal if it came with magpul backup sights as pictured.

I'd be in for one of these bad boys if the price dropped to around $600. $700+ is just too much for something of Kel-Tec quality!

Bought one last week and used it for grouse in the MN woods this past weekend. No problems and has good range (20-40 yards). This is a really cool reliable shotgun. $800 is the most I would ever pay though.

I keep hearing comments like that but in my experience (5 kel tec rifles/carbines/plr) they have been glock reliable. Plus the plastic makes them usable, ie: light.

Doves and squirrels hate my KSG. It's lot of fun with a stubby vertical grip and an EXPS-2.0

If Super Soaker made a shotgun, it would be higher quality materials than Kel-Tec. My buddy had one with a vertical grip. In less than 50 rounds it snapped off, rail still connected. That said, this might be the best made product Kel-Tec produces. I don't know what it is. They have great designs and abysmal manufacturing.

Yea....standard plastic rail under the front. I have a magpul stubby on there and have not had a problem but look out if you mount a long vertical grip.
Too much force and leverage on that plastic rail.
