Description
The KSG is no ordinary tactical shotgun. Its dual tube magazines hold a dozen 3 inch, 12 gauge shells (plus one in the chamber), with the flexibility of switching between various projectiles. A patented downward ejection system makes it truly ambidextrous, while its 26.1 inch overall length, 18.5 inch cylinder bore barrel and 6.9lbs of weight make it is as compact as legally possible.

Just picked this up from Sportsman's Guide for $555, free shipping, and could use the 4-pay program. Delivered to my local FFL in two days. FFL asked me how much I paid; he said that is less than what he can buy them for. $949 price tag on his shelf! If you're not a member at SG, then this might not be a deal, but they have it in stock and the shipping is way less than all these other listings. Just consider it.
I own one also, I freaking love it. I have never even cleaned it and it runs perfectly. For this price it's a steal
Mine has worked fine for the past three years.
This must have been a joint project between Hasbro and Kel-Tec. Only it didn't hold up to Hasbro's exacting QC standards.
My buddy had one that literally came apart as he was firing it. The fore end came right off the weapon.
With all the rusty, broken examples that find their way to pawn shops and the horror stories about this manufacturer, why would anyone buy their product?... Well, they do come in pretty colors. Exactly the same colors available in the Super Soaker line. What a coincidence.
POS held together with two dozen bolts. Keltec has great concepts that are horribly built.
You can make your own mini shells, buck or slug for 18 cents a pc & it wil hold 25 with a velocity of 1250 fps & 7/8 slug or #4 buck & that's new not reloads.
Still waiting on mine. Communication with Gunprime has not been great. Probably would not order from them again, I'd spend the extra $30 for someone who actually stocks what they sell. I'll be out of town for at least a week when my KSG finally does arrive.
I had no problem at all. Good communication. They even matched a sale price that changed.
I received mine about 3 weeks ago. From what I can tell it's production was done in the last couple of months. After a lot of research they have a constant amount of upgrading that's been occurring. People have opted for the aluminum magazine buffers. The factory ones according to the customer service should go at least 2000 rounds. Some of the difficulties with the gun you can take care of yourself. Simply when you take it apart the first time to clean it, the parkerizing in the breach should be polished and buffed out. The magazine tubes need to be polished and buffed also. This will make for smoother loading and feeding. If you are up to it there is several blogs also about polishing other parts that need fine tuning. Enjoy.
SportsmansGuide had the for a few $$ more but free shipping & 4 pay, had it in 3 days.
I didn't realize there is shipping from gunprime so Sportsmns guide cost no more.
I love this shot gun, perfect home defensive weapon!!! Can't wait until Christmas...! Thank you Santa!!! Lol
** The manual now has an orange sticker that says " The use of aluminum or steel case heads in the "low brass" configuration are not recommended"
About GUNPRIME. took 3 days from Alabama to Ohio, sent emails every step of the way, including tracking number and when it arrived at my FFL. A+ seller in my book ;)
Have had mine for a few months now and mine too has the orange sticker about the "low brass", but took it to tactical defensive shotgun class and it ate all kinds of rounds .00/slug/bird shot/low brass in regular sizes and different types of mini shells too, worked great the key is to disassemble it before you take it to the range and clean/clear out the part(s) that houses the feeding mechanisms (ie youtube).
well who makes low brass, in actual brass?
from what I can tell it's nearly always plated steel, even if it looks like brass it almost never is.
Anyone ever figure out which gen this is for sale?
Is this for Gen 3? The picture on gunprime website shows Gen 2.
Would love too, but wouldnt risk my life on kel-tec
Who wants a longer ksg ,24 mini shells in 26.1" gun perfect. And out of all keltecs I've owned the ksg is only one without problems. Owned 3. The pmr30 was a nightmare. Owned 3 and never had all 30 rounds cycle "Ever" tried all ammo
Love my kel tec p3at but you're right about pmr 30. Never had a full mag cycle. Anything over 20rnds and it's not going to work right. The mag capacity is huge selling feature too
I have two and both cycle fine. I run Hornady ammo through it.
The new KSG being displayed at shot show this year, with the longer barrel and 30 round mini shot gun shell capacity is going to kill the price on these original KSG's....Just my humble opinion.
41 rounds in a 38" long shotgun. The mini shells are only 1-1/2" like 2-2/4" zre only 2-1/4" except europeon.
Good maybe the price on them will drop to a point Im willing to pay.
There is nothing wrong with my Maverick 88 which cost a fraction of the price.
when the KSG first came out I lusted for it.. But after waiting and waiting for supplies while people jacked up the prices above retail.. I eventually forgot all about it.. now I am no longer willing to pay even this price for it.
Im putting my personal ceiling at about 500$
I know just how you feel !
I wanted one, but not in the $700 price range !
I happen to have lucked out with an online buy from Ohio....They Wanted $550 shipped !
I grabbed it !!
I don't see that happening. Seems to me the long barrel KSG is an answer to a question nobody asked.
Cheapest I've seen these in a long time.
Just purchased from gunprime on their sale price. Fast shipping and couldn't be more happy with my purchase.
Placed my order sunday, item shipped Monday and scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Pretty sweet deal.
