Good luck ordering from Botach. I ordered mine almost 2 months ago and still haven't received it. They were in stock when ordered too. I attempted to call, email, and submit a contact form over a dozen times with no replies. Total B.S.
Love these, then again, I never used one, I just flip them at the gun shows for $75 bucks.
Two things
1. Spend your money at a different retailer
2. Save a few more dollars and get the steel ones
Absolute JUNK. Same issue as GlockShok, doesn't fit all AK's. Even worse is Botachs customer service. Had to dispute charge with CC company because they would never respond to my requests! Save your money and buy the real thing from a real company
I got one. Only fits one of my five AKs. This thing sounds like a baby rattle when you shake it. Nothing like the Romanian or Chinese. One two foot drop onto gravel and the plastic cover cracked. It works still..... most of the time. If I had it to do again I would have kept my money.
I just can't see it lasting long. I've never owned one with plastic cover but looks like clear, hard, and brittle plastic. Ones I have r all steel. I understand polymer being durable to a certain extent but still has to be thick enough and reinforced in right areas. Just my 2 cents
Akou is testing this drum as I type this but judging from the comments on Facebook, lots of people having jamming and breaking issues
I bet Atlantic firearms wouldn't be too thrilled with Botach using their ad video in this promotion.....
Buy the all steel Romanian 75 rnd drums and be happy for years and years. The romys go on sale for $79. The extra 30 bucks is well worth it, especially over this one. Russian and Chinese steel 75 or 100 rnd drums are even better, but are usually $200+.
