The Komrad™ is a US manufactured 12 GA semi-automatic tactical short barreled firearm based on the Russian Saiga series. It is designed to accept 2.75” and 3” shells and includes two 5 round magazines. The Komrad™ has a SB Tactical SBA3 pistol brace, adjustable pistol grip, tri-rail forend, vertical forward grip, standard side mounted optics rail and a threaded muzzle nut. Total length of the firearms comes to 31.5”. Most of the currently available Saiga accessories will work on the Komrad™ including magazines and drums.

- OAL Extended 31.5"
The buffer tube no longer counts toward OAL on an AK platform. These would be an NFA item with a front grip as pictured.
buy at your own peril.
That’s incorrect, you can still measure from the end of the buffer tube extension, which on an AR w/ a 12.5” barrel comes out to 28”. Anything over 26” is good to go with a VFG
But is it different for the ak platform since it's not considered an integral part?
I know I'm barking up the wrong tree asking for reason behind an aft decision anyway.
