Are these kahr's a bit overlooked after the release of so many subcompact single-stack 9mm's the past few years?
Ive got the rich-bitch version (P9). This CW9 is the same minus a few cost-cutting tweaks to the slide and spare magazines. I prefer the longer grips on these to the smaller PM9/CM9. Revolver-like doa trigger, and a lighter weight loaded with 7+1 147grJHP9mm than most competitive subcompact 9mm's are unloaded. the p9/cw9 have a decent, but not great, variety of holsters I found. If the price is right and you like the dao trigger, get it, shoot it, dig it, maybe carry it... Oh, sportmansguide? yeah, #*%& them, but nice little pistol.

P.S. cant give a kahr a positive mini-review w/o mentioning the sharp slide-stop/release, shooting w/o gloves leaves thumb(s) blistered raw. It almost certainly must be filed and sanded down some on the outer edges if the Kahr is to be used be human hands... not a big deal. almost like a Kahr initiation procedure really.

I had one of these a few years ago. No problems with it, just nothing exciting or unique about it to make me want to keep it. Sold it.

Had one. Trigger is smooth but long. Reset is all the way back to where you started. Couldnt get past how the rounds sat in the magazine. Also, if you inserted a magazine and pulled the slide back, it wouldnt load. Sure, its recommended to use the slide stop to chamber the round, but again, couldnt get past that either. Sold it

Can the front sight be changed on this?

Great buy! It's just a good basic solid pistol for home defense. Nothing fancy but solid weapon for the price.

Cant pass this one up. To get any 9mm for around 300 is incredible, but to get one of this quality and with free shipping! Kyles Gun Shop is my new first stop from now on!
