I bought a CT45 a couple of years ago and while the damn thing shoots about anything, it bucks like a rattlesnake. Also, the trigger is shite because it has a really long reset. I would have to say the trigger is worse than my S&W .357 revolver - which I really like.

I also own a Remington .45 and I really like it. Very accurate, bucking is controllable, and it is SA/DA.

I would add I sent Kahr an email complaining about their shite trigger and I never heard a word back.

Always liked the looks of these, and I always like things that are a little different (says the guy who carries a glock) Wanted to like them really. Just so many mixed reviews and my close friend had one which was problematic. Oh well.

I've been lucky with my experiences with kahr. Cw9 flawless out of the box and pm 40 flawless after the first hundred or so rounds. Ymmv. My sister has a cw9 that is problematic even with 400 give or take rounds through it, I think it's mag related. That said i trust my pm 40 with my life any day, and any of the 3 mags that came with it even though it was sub 4 hundred dollars brand new.

I have several Kahrs including this CT9 (from SG) and all have been decent shooters. The only Kahrs I’ve had problems with during break in period is the .380 line. My CM9, CT9, and K9 eat anything, including cheap steel ammo. Just my experience.

I am happy for you! Honestly . There is nothing worse than spending hard earned money on garbage and not even getting the time of day about it. Out of 15 , or so hand guns and long guns, Kahr was the only " Dump It" gun that I had. It is now gone and I feel better about it. Nice looking P.O.S. . All the Guns I have now go bang without ugly side affects. Those of you with good Kahr's I WISH I WAS ONE.

Kahr quality and customer service have really deteriorated. Would consider this at $189 but nothing more.

That is sad to hear. I have had a PM40 as my go to carry piece for the better part of a decade and I have nothing but great things to say about it.

I've been lucky with my CT45 no issues so far and a good gun. That said I tried calling their support line for a couple of questions I had and got nothing but never ending ringing, apparently the person answering the phone quit, and their 1980's answering machine died too???

Hey got one of these six months ago. Not from SG so no reflection on them. Will never buy a Kahr of any style or shape. Went to factory twice because culls ejected were black. First time they returned to me with new barrel as original was out of spec. Got it back same issue. Second time problem moved up food change. Kahr blamed ammo as under power and undergassed. Only 900 fps according to their testing using Federal. Oh, and the first barrel was not out of spec. Huh? Sent same ammo to Federal who ran it through a CT9 and they got 1140 fps. Used faster advertised ammo and same black cases. Sent letter to Kahr President , certified, with repair records and letters from Ammo mtg. No response. Kahr is not what I expected. Highpoint blows Kahr away.
