Used this in a 6.5 creedmore AERO lower. Got light primer strikes one out of every 8-10 rds. Sometimes more. Sent it back. I was told all the springs were upgraded... did the same thing. It’s worst with Hornady ammo. I got 6 light primer strikes in a row. D

I hear the mil-spec pins are supposed to rotate. The non- movement will cause damage to the Fcg.

I bought this trigger. Had initial problems with it because I screwed the tension screws too tight. Also, had to go h2 buffer on carbine so I would t get stove pipes when rapid firing with this sucker.

I am not impressed by this trigger. I bought one at this 85 price a couple years ago. I own and have owned at least a dozen different drop in triggers. This my least favorite. It has some take-up and a gritty catch before it breaks. Perhaps I got a bad one but either way i don't like it. I build and sell lots of custom rifles, I leave lots of extra triggers installed into trigger chassis to allow customers to dry fire them each in comparison with one another. I put every customer into an aftermarket trigger, even if it's just a $45 ALG w/ JP springs, because the trigger is so important for accuracy and enjoyment. However, I can't and would not try to convince any customer to buy this compared to any of the other options available. That's not a bias, that is based on side by side comparison. Again, its possible I got a bad one but how would I know. I only bought one and dont have a second identical one to compare against, so now it sits in my trigger chassis as an example to customers, that not all drop in triggers are created equal.

Worked well on a carbine length 5.56. It did not like my overgassed 300blk pistol at all! Turned the gas block way down and it seems to work now. Will have to put a couple hundred rds thru before a final verdict.

Decent trigger for the money, tried it on steel case x39 to see what it would do, shot wolf 98% of the time but struggled with Tula. It’s currently on a 556 pistol build and is an absolute blast.

I bought one of these quite a while ago. Never could get it to work right. I had almost forgotten about it . Gave them a call, they gave me a shipping label and sent me a brand new one. It works flawlessly. I'm going to get another for a 300 blk out I'm building. These guys rock.

Bought one for my homemade ar15 300blk. Just tested over the weekend. Performance is great. Do t have a pull gauge but been shooting for 30 yrs and would say it had to be on the money or close. Install was easy. Performance was perfect. No problems and no complaints. Delivery was quick. Getting another one tomorrow for my 223

Anyone tried these out in an AR-10?

I had it in my PSA AR10, worked very very well.

Nice, I run one of their setups too - might just have to pick one up.

Thanks.

Compatible with Nordic 22lr?

Mine is very smooth. I was shocked to see an average pull weight of 5.2 on my new gauge. That was disappointing considering even my ATI stock spring is 1 point lower!
UPDATE: talked to the good folks at JMT and my pulls were 3Lbs. in no time!

I want to buy this trigger, but I've heard too many conflicting reports.

I got my first AR a few months ago to deal with our hog problem here. didn't like the trigger. I picked up the Saber for 100.

It will not set the hammer after it fires. The shell ejects fine but to fire again you have to run the bolt back, kick out a good shell and then it will fire. Any ideas?
I have a BCA "hunter" Wylde upper with side charger. PSA lower.

I just (no.. I won't say it.. ) bought two of these triggers... one for my Diamondback DB10 and the other for my Radical Firearms 300BLK. I'll try to update this thread once I receive them and get a chance to evaluate them.

Try swapping out your buffer spring. I had a similar problem with a new PSA lower. Crap PSA spring. If PSA posted all the negative reviews they get they wouldn't sell anything.

Hey, I'm having the same problem. It is the same with 2 different uppers. Let me know what you find out, I'm going to get with JMT and see what they say. Thanks.

The Allen screw that tightens up the slop on the trigger to floor was too tight. Loosen the Allen until you have slop in the trigger assembly . Then slowly tighten until it until slop just goes away. Do not turn any more. Use locktite That solved my issue. Trigger is great.

Haven't had any issues with mine ? Works great but might just be lucky if you guys are having trouble

Easy install but after 100rds I started having issues with the hammer not locking about every 3-5 rounds.

Taking it out. Look for a used on Ebay.

Same. Luckily, I live in the same place as they are made. I bought 1, buddy bought 1, both had the same problem. Returned them to the store we purchased them from. Installed triggers 3 and 4, same problems on both. We contacted the manufacturer and are slated to take both rifles to them and have the triggers adjusted.

Have you tried contacting JMT? They should be able to troubleshoot it with you or replace, if necessary.

I installed this on my PSA AR9 lower and tested it out today. The trigger performed better what I expected, no problems at all. Easy install. I prefer this over my CMC flat triggers...

I could not get the CMG or Larue MBT to work in my PSA glock 9mm AR. Ended up using the ALG, has a milspec hammer profile which my bolt seems to need to reset.

CMC drop-in triggers will work in those PSA 9mm lowers, as well as the QC10, and the New Frontier 9mm lowers.

The triggers that will work should be determined by the bolt that is being used

Very, true. With that I will give a caveat of Glock-cut 9mm carriers (PSA, New Frontier, KAW, Spinta are the ones I've used).

Anyone try this with a 9mm AR build?

Should work just fine with 9mm as long as your using a ramped bolt. I use a Timney drop in AR trigger in my 9mm rifle with a CMMG "colt style" dedicated 9mm lower and ramped CMMG bcg. And use a Larue MBT 2-S trigger on my dedicated glock lower with a New Frontier Arms glock/colt cut "standard" bcg. Both of these are ramped to allow for standard ar triggers. Not sure if the modular 9mm bcg's will allow the use of standard ar drop in triggers.

Good deal w/ free shipping. This is a solid trigger, and a very good value. JMT customer service is also top notch.

I agree, I have one, really a great drop in trigger. I ordered one when he first released them. I'm a trigger snob, it's equal to others I have paid WAY more for.
And the trigger blade is different looking, nice touch.
