I have a Chinesium one I ordered from aliexpress, this one is a lot nicer! I wouldn't say it's a first quality; There are superficial and minor finish flaws, but is a great value for $15.95 free ship and no tax! I decided to buy another one.
Mine just got delivered today. They are worth what I paid for them and need them for. I dont like the idea of them not being usa made since thats why I decided to get a few instead of just one but oh well.
I am pretty doubtful that this is made in the USA. JE Machine Tech sells a lot, if not mostly Chinese made products that a bunch of other dime-a-dozens AR-15 accessories retailers sell. I bought JE Machine Tech branded folding sights that Dvor originally marked as made domestically which is not the case. They were also the worst POS sights I have ever payed money for.
Yeah. J&E sells "made in USA" products that look awfully a lot like other brands made in China.
I get an error every time I try to order. Using the 15% code "Welcome15", or not using it. I have also tried using different paying methods.
American Express and VISA through PayPal error'ed out. I was eventually able to finalize a sale at $13.56 by directly billing a VISA card.
I bought this a month or so ago for about the same price. It looks and feels like a quality piece. I haven't shot it yet but not much can go wrong.
One problem is those large knobs to tighten down onto the rail system - they're on the left side and are kinda close to a charging handle. You cannot reverse which side the knobs go. I have an ambi charging handle but I still favor using the left side to operate the handle as the forward assist interferes from the other side.
I finally received my order. I was surprised when I opened the mail package. The product is in a very simple plain box without brand, no UPC code. I doubt it's made in USA. The quality is so so, and the sight is so loose. You got what you paid for.
