That'll be the day when I spend $450 on a bcg, don't care how "good" it is.

I agree. All these stupid marketing and advertising techniques really have people fooled. I say stupid, quite genius actually.

From $400 barrels to $300 triggers and all kinds of of other crap, what we're seeing is the proliferation of the new $3000 dollar AR platform.

You can buy a reloading press, a single stage, no frills press for less than you can buy a "Bad Ass" ambidextrous" safety selector. Have you seen those? $60 bucks for a fucking safety!.. but people pay it.

The other one that kills me are slings. $40-70 for a fucking belt with some extra hardware on it. You can buy a 6000lb tow strap for less money. People have just stopped thinking these days. There's tons of other examples out there.

I think one of the biggest factors contributing to the problem is that most people are no longer WORKING for their money. They don't know the value of a dollar anymore. Too many people out there getting paid WAYYY more money then they're worth. This leads to frivolous spending and over inflated prices for merchandise. Cops come to mind. Did you see the hundreds (if not thousands) of cops standing around looking good for the camera during that whole Boston ordeal??? All making overtime on the tax payers dime? Then a RESIDENT finds the guy? Priceless. Millions, WASTED. They're the ones buying this shit, people who don't work for their money.

People who just show up to places called jobs for the week and then at the end of that week, magically have a pile of money in their accounts.

Seems like there are a lot of fools out there, they are on back order again....308 AR parts are higher price than a .223 part, fewer rifles so fewer parts which like in any market keeps the price higher. Fewer units produced, higher the cost. I happen to have one of these in my AR-10T, the Armalite BCG had issues, JP bolt has kept the rifle out of the trash bin. So what other .308 BCG that is cheaper and available do you suggest?

So you just decided you'd spend almost a grand on two bolts huh?

I seriously doubt it. By your accounts you spend about 1-2k a week on gun related stuff. Yet you seem to be here 24/7 enlightening us all with your comments about product or conversations with vendors.

In the real world people have real world expenses. Rent, car payments, child support, alimony, or wtf ever.. BILLS. Most also have 40hr a week jobs and sleep 6 to 8 hours. We have to eat, travel to said jobs, shit shower and shave, and all the other stuff that accompanies life in between.

I know successful people. Successful people with money. I do okay myself, but I'm talking about people who hustle and work extremely hard to buy the things they have, and NONE of them have the time NOR WOULD SPEND ANY TIME fucking off arguing and posting as much as you do. These are truly productive people. People with families and responsibilities who lead healthy productive lives.

A guy who claims to buy as much as you do after living expenses I'd estimate to be a solid six figure earner. Like I said, I know a few of those and how they roll. They're busy, busy people. Yet you post about as much as an unemployed man living in his mothers basement. Even if you earned half the kind of money to claim to spend, when the hell do you work? You post damn near 24/7 dude. Hell, when do you even sleep?

Realistically, it's not even a big deal as you're just some internet poster. I have much bigger worries and responsibilities, which fortunately don't include slickdeals. I'm just curious that's all.

So what does John Moses do for a living? The ONLY reasonable conclusion I can come up with is overpaid fireman in the firehouse with his cellphone day and night. .

And that's giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Dode...it was a joke...take your retard pills.

So funny that you wrote yet another large paragraph...when I was joking about "I'll take two".....meaning, yes it's expensive....

Have you ever heard anyone say " Hey for that price I'll take two"? It's apretty common joke, just thought maybe you had heard it before...guess not...

Oh well, thanks for the laugh at your odd response.

And no, not everyone is a poor hillbilly saving up week to wee to buy gun parts.....and you will never know what my job is.....so, continue on with your odd rants.

I always write large paragraphs.. and multiple at that.

Glad to hear it was a joke because if not, coming from you, it was within all acceptable worthiness of flying the bullshit flag.

Did you read the comments I made on the RO? I bought one and love it. Does yours have the nasty numbers etched underneath the slide? Wondering the best way to"buff" those out.

Didn't notice. My RO is in storage in my Range Locker. I'll look.

Answered your post...that number should match the frame. Mine has it on the cocking pad...that s how Springer matches the slides to their 1911 frames.
