I brought this just to test it out. The build quality isn’t bad for $50. The green laser is really bright while the light itself is only good up to 10 yards give or take. The battery life isn't that great. This light/laser is ONLY good if your house isn't big and if you don't plan on using the light/laser until an intruder breaks in(not at the range). If you're serious about Home defense then I recommend buying a better light/laser.

60 lumens?

The power LED on my laptop puts out more light than that.

WTF is this stupidity?

If you want to save $20 over the AWESOME already proven sleekly designed Streamlight TLR-6 and have a fetish for overly angular blobs of plastic designed on what looks like a transformer that used to be a camaro concept while giving up 40 lumens then get this!

Tempting but isn't 60 lumens a bit on the weak side?

I was thinking about getting this since I am a sucker for picking up extras when they are on closeout for half the price everyone else is asking for it. After some research I am going to restrain. Seems to have weak reviews. The design is not very cooperative with the switch locations. It also uses uncommon batts quickly that are pricey. I wanted to put one on my R pistol build but I could not find any reviews mentioning how well this held zero on a rifle app. The low placement of the laser will play into your zero more when changing distance too. But that price is tempting...

I have a couple iProtec lights on a couple rifle ad pistol and I have been more than happy with them. They so far have held up well under the recoil of .223, 7.62x39 and 9mm. Nice and bright and seem decent for the price.
