IO is known for very poor quality materials and quality control, that's why they shut down their AK manufacturing. They offered lifetime warranties on their AK's and now don't even honor those at the time because repeated returns were bleeding the company dry.
Dont give a company like this your money. If you want a cheap decent AR, I just saw PSA has their CHF uppers for 309. Get one of those with a complete MOE lower and PSA Premium BCG. You'll be looking at about 520.00 and have a solid rifle.
That IO AK is the only firearm I have ever refused a transfer on, it was that bad out of the box.
There is nearly 100% agreement thst the worst rifle assembler in the U.S is IO Inc.

He is right, I.O, is hands down the worse company ever. They tried to make a name selling AK-47s but every single one of their rifles has a reputation
for sucking and being made of the worse parts imaginable. This is common knowledge for everyone who has been around in the gun industry. Its always newbies like yourself who get screwed because they don't know any better about this company. Seriously, stay the hell away from them. Honestly, do not get this if you are a serious shooter who wants to use this for home defense or training. I sometimes wonder if this company was purposely created to screw ather american public and to make sure they have equipment that breaks down. Don't except your rifle at the FFL, return it and get a m&p or palmetto state armory for the same price. You are just asking for trouble, this company is the worse.
