The INFORCE APL LED auto pistol light produces 200 lumens of white light – enough to illuminate targets and affect a person’s night vision – with a tight beam for close- to mid-range applications and balanced peripheral light for discernment of the surrounding area. The straightforward, bilateral and ambidextrous paddle switching system affords left or right hand activation and natural finger movement from the weapon body to the switch. The INFORCE APL is ultralight and durable inside and out; its integrated rail mounting system, compact, convenient and securely fastented without tools.

Looking for my first light. Any thoughts on having the 200 lumens vs. the 400 lumens? I think this is the 200 lumens older model at this sale price.
I know it's a little late but I got this for in the house and it'll blind anyone in the dark...it's even bright in normal light.
Why is everything $14.95 flat shipping? This is a small item? Excessive shipping kills any of the good deals you have. ..

Personal preference really.
Some say they are blinded by the concentrated hotspot (400L) others say the throw is inadequte on the 200L.
Personally, indoors, I go 200, but if you ever see yourself needing to illuminate distant targets, 20+ yards, and/or be outdoors...400 might be better.
'Course, at 20+ yards two questions arise, Would a rifle (w/ a light) have been a better choice to have had ready and also is it still a situation requiring a shot?
