Screw classic. You can find these on gunbroker for not much more and skip dealing with the sweaty fan man.

I bought a gun from a pawn shop dealer from Alaska on GunBroker. As my LGS started the transfer, our state police said the gun I had purchased was stolen and reports two years prior. Apparently 6 total pistols of the same make were stolen from a wholesaler. So needless to say my gun was confiscated by the state police. I had to fight for a refund! Two months it took. How does a licensed gun dealer take in then sell a stolen firearm? Made no sense to me. They're excuse was that FFL dealers are not required to "check" if guns are stolen before taking them into stock then selling them....stupid.

Ironically, the FFL dealer was not lying to you. Should have given the refund immediately, good business practice and stay on the right side or karma.
