Some people claim it can damage your stock.
I'm getting one. And as far as lugging anything at the range? I don't. I roll up in my car, pop the trunk bust out my Costco wagon and load everything into that and proceed another 80 feet to the shooting area and get set up. Been needing one of the rests for a while to sight in a few items.
Don't have this exact one, but I use something similar to sight in my rifles and see how they throw a group. It holds a rifle a lot more steady than I can, even using a bag or bipod.
Do people actually use these? As if lugging ammo and Rifle’s around isn’t enough already?? Wtf
These are for sighting in your rifle & checking how tightly your rifle can shoot.

Doesn't make much sense. Who cares if your rifle rest feels recoil? I've never heard one complain before.
