This is basically fraud. They do advertise it as "M193" though, which was 55gr and without the steel penetrator.
Still sketchy though.

Great price. I tried to punch through Lvl 3 plate with this out of my 16-inch barrel and it just couldn't do it. I was kind of disappointed. At that same range session, I was able to punch through that plate with some old (1983) Malaysia surplus M193. Still, the Frontier is good, clean ammo and this is an excellent price.
Not a bad deal, but Federal has green tip on sale everywhere and with rebates. Looks like this is just their ammo re-branded.
1. This ammo is NOT made by Hornady. It is made by Frontier using Hornady bullets. Pretty shady and misleading.
2. I've seen these rounds kaboom too many guns to ever trust them. I even went through my own weighing each, and found 2 overcharged rounds.
Fuck this ammo. Not worth the risk when there's much better shit available for cheaper.
