I just received this today and there is no Picatinny rail. This sight mounts on a pistol with RMR cuts. I bought the PSA Dagger and this sight fits perfectly. It is not a “quick” disconnect. The pistol came with a plate to fill the cut out area if you were not mounting a red dot sight. You use the “short” screws to do that. Two “long” screws mount the sight to the slide.

I got a blemished dagger, with sight cuts and threaded barrel, for $299, which you probably are aware is the price of the base level Dagger. The blemish was some marking on the outside of the barrel under the slide. I'm very happy with it, I think PSA has another one listed as of this morning (8/7).
The mount on the optic in the picture that is used to mount to a rail is not included, what is included are sets of short and long screws to mount it directly to a handgun slide that has an RMR cut or any other RMR mount. Those screws will also attach it to the mount in the picture or any other mount you would choose to use it with but again it doesn't come with it. If you want to mount it to a rail you will need to order any RMR based rail mount. Also mine did come with a battery it was just hiding from me inside the optic.....
Ordered, received in 2 days. This is my second of the holosuns with the rmr footprint, third holosun overall. Of note, this specific model does not come with the picatinny rail mount plate that is pictured, just the short and long screws to mount to a slide. It also does not come with a battery. My 507C X2 came with a battery and rail plate. I like this reticle a lot, my other slide mounted holosun has the crosshair/dot combo that is selectable (which I like a lot) but this open circle works really well for me and it's a great price. Overall very happy.
Mine came with a battery, but you are correct, they do not come with the mount that is pictured. People are furious about it and I bet PSA is getting a lot of phone calls.
Which mount is better? The picatinny rail mount or the short and long screw method. Does the mount your referring to have any advantages? Is it similar to a "Quick" mount/dismount? Could you clue me in?
