More reliable version???? Are you kidding. My VP9 is the most reliable, accurate and comfortable weapon I've ever owned. I carry one everyday on duty and trust my life to it daily. It is an absolutely fantastic shooting pistol. This is a very good price as well and this dealer is great. Myself and a couple friends have bought from them without any problems.

Maybe the price drop is because a more reliable version 2 is about to be released.

Gun prices are coming down because with Trump in office there are no immediate threats to the 2nd amendment and so sales are slow right now. I recently bought a new HK VP9 for $449 shipped. Who would have thought? If you have your eye on that special gun now is the time to start shopping for it.

In my opinion this is the best striker fired pistol available under $600. I carry one everyday on duty and trust my life to it daily. Absolutely fantastic shooting, super accurate and Uber reliable! With the interchangeable backstraps AND side panels it can fit any size hand. The trigger is excellent, nice and crisp, smooth with a nice reset. The accuracy will definitely impress in capable hands. I can easy knock off a mags worth, 15 clay pigeons at 50 yards open sights all day long...and I'm not in my opinion a crack shot. I've converted a handful of my glock loyalist coworkers and friends after they shot my VP9. fit and finish is very nice and the finish is very durable showing no signs of wear after 8 months of holster use. Excellent price here as well.

I bought one of these late last year and it's my favorite gun overall to take to the range. If you're looking for a quality made striker fired polymer pistol, you won't be disappointed.

My only advice is be prepared for typical HK pricing if you're going to buy additional mags though... They are not Glock priced!

XTech Tactical stated at SHOT 2017 they were releasing P series of mags. They offer a +5 mag base for them. Also claimed they have a working relationship with HK.

I think if Glock lowered their pricing LEO departments would loose their minds. Glock could not care any less about public sales, it's meat and potatoes is departmental sales, public is just gravy. Also I think if a dealer is caught selling cheaper than MAP, Glock would yank their right to sale them. A guess on my part. Then again they cried yesterday about Sig getting the Army contract. Second thought we can put a safety on our Perfection if you REALLY want it.

Never mind, I just saw someone selling G21 Gen 3 for $399, that is impressive. I have a G21 gen 4 and G17 gen 3 and a VP9, VP9 is always with me. G's have trigger upgrades.

I don't know man.. I am not Glock "hater", as a matter of fact I had my eye on G19 for a while now but I guess I am just being open minded and immune to all the YouTube hype. Glock guns are good and reliable but there's nothing on that weapon that can justify their product to be overpriced from manufacturing (cost to produce each unit) point of view. As far military contract goes, you can't blame them for trying, but even SIG choice took me by surprise. When it comes to combat, I believe there should be multiple contracts granted to multiple manufacturers to provide specific guns for specific military units. One glove fits all just makes no sense.
